Hi all,

I think you're going to LOVE 9-Volt Haunted House (my pals from cleveland)! I've been wanting to do a show with them for long over a year, and - here they will be tonight... it looks like they'll be on last, and they're not to be missed... If you want a little taste beforehand, go here:

Yeah that was an awesome night and quite a turnout of DGNers. I thought it was funny when Phee announced his thanks to "Detroitgothic.net". That had to send some shivers up some of the bar attendees backs, esp hearing the latest murder involving a "16 year old goth" kid in California.

Had an exellent, if not drunken time. Show was great. As a musician, I know it really means a lot when friends come out and support me. It was great to see so many people come out for the show. Nice work, guys.

All I have to say is Wow!!!

You guys have made me the most happy Phee I have been in months, that was the most fantastic show we have ever had (including my previous band)

Unchaste - Nice having a midnight snack with you, and you are wonderful company

Reaper - Your presence is always wonderful to enjoy.

Paper Hearts - Dude if I had a sister... she would totally be yours.

Seaphyr - Nice to meet the person behind the posts, and your photos don't do you justice.

Bav - One of my best friends in the world, thanks for coming and fro bringing folks.

Deavon - You rock my world, and damn you tall.

missierae - Another DGNr who is most definitly more beautiful in person than the pictures do you justice, and wonderful company.

Msterbeau - You are one of the anchors of this world online, and now in my creative life.

Holliwood - One of our most consistant and most nice supporters, let's hang out soon and bring...

Zhuk - ...with you, you guys rock out so hardcore.

Game of Chance - Such a gentlemen and so much fun to hang out with, I have never not had a good time around this man.

saechalyn - Finally I know that you are not just MY imaginary friend, but he whole DGN's imaginary friend... WOOT!

Pharoh - Everytime we hang out it just gets better.

Eatajaxandie - You sir are great bar and resteraunt company.

If, by any chance I have forgotten anyone, I garuntee it is only temporary.

We have another Ann Arbor show in the works sometime Nov/Dec... I would love any other DGN musicians to play out with in the future for shows to get together with me and organize something.

9-Volt was happy that they had such a big audience and Hypersomnia was very happy to finally meet so many of you.

I say this with all the seriousness I can muster:

I played a show at the Elbow Room and an army of DGNr's showed up once.... It was Great.

I wish we could have heard more of you guys.... and that the Elbow Room had a less "muffled" sounding PA system. :erm

It was fun watching HyperSomnia check email while you bounced around pressing keys and turning knobs. :laughing :laughing :laughing

Oh I saw the stares- absolutely hysterical. I haven't played "Scare the normals" since high school! I loved it! Ah, nostalgia.

The show was awesome- Phee rocks the didgeridoo like nobody's business. I had a great time!

Hi all!

It was a great opportunity to meet more of you last night. Thanks for not shunning me for wearing my orange "I rode the camel at the Cincinnati Zoo" shirt, it was a deliberate foil to Phee's death metal threads... :innocent

The 9-Volt Haunted House guys were thrilled with the turnout & had a great time, up until Thee Ritual Crappery stepped foot on stage. I make it policy to never diss another band, but they slung some comments & not-so-veiled insults out about people using computers to make music blah whine blah, and they were in all honesty and genuineness the very worst musical and social experience I've ever had. I even tried to be so cool with them before-hand, and still... oh well, I guess it also takes not-sharp people to make this world what it is.

The bar workers impressed me as being really nice, and even let me & 9vhh get a 12er to take back to my place... kinda under the table, like.

I haven't listened to the MiniDisc recording yet, but I did note that the headphone mix & room mix were not similar in many ways. I think Kyle does the best he can with what anemic sound system The Elbow Room has. If you didn't get to meet Kyle, he's a pretty great guy - and runs a pretty cool band as well, Las Drogas.
