The Void

I'd rather save my calories and sugar enjoyment for chocolates and ice cream. But, I do like some carbonation, so I either drink plain soda water or I add a packet of kool-aid to soda water, then sweeten with Stevia. But, they have to be added slowly since it causes a mentos-like reaction. haha

All the years I've lived in MI (7) I have not bothered to go. Tomorrow I finally venture out and check out the Con. whoopeeeee. lol

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record on DGN, but Troy, consider reading the book The Cure by Dr. Timothy Brantley. It's touched on so much that I've read over the years with regards to nutrition and it might assist in giving complete perspective on getting off the 'diet' rollercoaster and into a more comfortable 'lifestyle' dietary change. Or, you might read it and think me totally insane. Whichever. I wish you well in being healthy, most important of all. His book is about health and the food we eat, etc.

When we all break it down, it's $60 per year to keep a community alive that's been around for a damn long time. Long enough for most of us to have gone through several board incarnations when it died in the past or was rebuilt, etc. right now I only have a shit part-time job, but I'll throw in the $5 a month just to keep DGN from becoming a big blackout hassle for the keepers of the gates. I can only imagine that some things get lost when features wash up and to keep having to bring it back from archives adn all that would suck after awhile for those giving of their time to do this. Consider the $60 a year a gift to the people who give of their time to keep DGN running and a place to some to. Honestly, I don't have a lot of friends in Michigan yet, but DGN was the reason I came and live here, so I feel I can at least chat with familair faces here still.
