When we all break it down, it's $60 per year to keep a community alive that's been around for a damn long time. Long enough for most of us to have gone through several board incarnations when it died in the past or was rebuilt, etc.
right now I only have a shit part-time job, but I'll throw in the $5 a month just to keep DGN from becoming a big blackout hassle for the keepers of the gates. I can only imagine that some things get lost when features wash up and to keep having to bring it back from archives adn all that would suck after awhile for those giving of their time to do this.
Consider the $60 a year a gift to the people who give of their time to keep DGN running and a place to some to. Honestly, I don't have a lot of friends in Michigan yet, but DGN was the reason I came and live here, so I feel I can at least chat with familair faces here still.
