  1. Crowley

    Welcome Crowley

Current Location: In front of computer Where from: Scientists are still in deliberation Gender: Male Work: Certified Nutritional Consultant/Door Dasher School: Oakland University Kids: Complicated question that Married: No Single: Yes Hobbies: Writing, reading, researching, battling existential demons that plague my mind. How did you find out about DGN?: Used to be a member a long time ago, felt it was time to reconnect. How did you pick your DGN name?: Honestly, my friends always call me that. I am aware of Aleister Crowley and his work, not a huge fan of it but I am a huge fan of the song Mr. Crowley. Other Stuff: Eclectic taste in music. I could have Enya playing one minute and Rammstien the next all while having urges to crank out some Sisters of Mercy, Assemblage 23 or Abney Park. I'm not Bi polar but my music taste is. I am an Auto-didactic and according to my genealogy am apparently considered Fae in Ireland. That last one was a strange fact I know but when you hear it coming from a genealogist it gets even weirder. I also don't subscribe to any political affiliation so that is the only subject I tend to avoid because well, I just avoid it. I came here because I am now a caretaker for my grandparents and as such a social life is almost non-existent but I still want to have a community I can reach out to or just chat with. I hope this answers some questions, if anybody has any other questions you are more than welcome to ask. I will answer to the best of my ability

  2. Yeah its not a big thing. Some what interesting though. I guess some people can't handle their topics being debated. I am more amused by it then hurt.

  3. In this day and age, the word "friend" is used for any and everybody who knows your social media name, profile, etc. A true friend knows you for you and would understand that you have the right to your own opinion just like they do. So yes, losing a FB "friend" is truly "Not a big deal". And if they are people you actually know in real life and they feel so strongly about politics that they have to "not know you anymore" then I say let them go. Life is too short to chase after stress factors.
