So... 5 people. Getting to that cut-off point soon. Who am I kidding, I have to keep making them. Been busting my ass on the charity store, (just like every day) it's now 4:11 am and I'm just getting to these. -
Just heard about this on the news. 😞 Too bad they spent way too much time talking about movies on every news thing I saw. Dang movies. About a year ago I read an interview with him. He said his favorite comic book was ... and this is a big deal since we are talking about a guy that has been around comics forever and invented many of them... his favorite comic book was a miniseries called >>"Marvels". << ?? I looked it up and read the whole thing. Its only 4 (longish) issues long. Very different from normal comics. First its painted, not drawn with solid lines and then colored in. The artwork is impressive (i looked the artist up he is really good takes a long time to 'paint' comics). More of a big deal is its told from the perspective of a regular person (a reporter) and covers his life from a young to an old man and how the actions of the Marvel characters had impacted his life over the years with various (very short) appearances from a ton of different characters and how real people would or might respond if superheroes were actually real. It's pretty impressive. Also, I was impressed by the fact that he didn't pick any of his own creations has his favorites nor something from ye olden days that had a nostalgic feel for him personally which is what I thought he would do. He'll be missed.

Now Watching...

Wow. Used to watch that what seemed like every day when I was a kid before cable. I remember (just barely) the last episode being a HUGE deal in a way that no modern show could match because now viewership is spread out over many many shows. Something like that won't happen again. -

(Artwork in Progress) The idea there is to enact the three concepts both internally and externally. Takes self examination. Am I being Truthful with myself ? Am I being Truthful with others ? Am I actually, honestly seeking Truth? Am I being kind to myself, my close family/friends/Others? (Truthfully) Am I being couagious with my own thoughts or am I just perpetually in my comfort zone never venturing fourth? Couagous with all three priciples? with Others? And the balance between them in any given situatuon. They are not all totally compatable as say being overly honest sometimes is unnessisarily mean not kind. The Dragon symbolizes all these things in action with Courage (to take on the responsibility to do all 3) in action. The spiral is the never ending journey from ignorance to enlightenment on all 3. -

I have about 20 of them... they are some strange make called 'micro machines' -
Probably the best 'analysis' source. Recommended as daily viewing for everyone. I would even go so far to say if you only have 6 bucks a month, I'd love for DGN to have it but if you are so poor that that is all you can come up with, give it to TYT, what they do is too important, especially now. My favorite "actual news" (vs analysis which is what TYT does) is Democracy Now also would put that on daily viewing list. The best comedy/politics mix is Bill Maher. Because he goes more for the politics than the comedy and has the best guests of any of these types of shows. No one else can get the people he does. He, despite all the vitriol, has wide respect in the political community unlike pretty much every other comedian who is more of a dabbler in politics than someone that actually studies it. Although at 62 after being on TV for a hard to believe 25 years he still does actually stand up >every weekend<. Most of the guys we have heard of that do TV basically do very little stand up anymore. Last week tonight with John Oliver is second. The Daily show is third. There are others that are fun/funny that I do watch but they stray too far from the important things to get a laugh, or are barely even comedy which if I wanted that I'd just watch actual standup or actual news and I do watch a ton of standup. (and keep writing my own actually, I keep threatening to find an open mic night somewhere).

Gets my vote for worst gathering card ever. In other news I ran out of blank cards. There are only 8 total and there are 9 people above. I'll have a really old card in the bunch that no one but the O.G. s would have for the odd man out. -

Crap. I'm literally out of blank cards. I just got done laminating the last of them and I won't be able to put your rune on one since I don't have any more. I'll have to figure out how to get more by next week. -

Apparently, I was misunderstood last week from what I heard through the grapevine. Let me say it more clearly "if only a few people care enough about the cards to post asking for one my energy level (or maybe just my enthusiasm level due to the sadness that kills it for me) is not up to the task of making them" the added part was just an "I have asked like 100+ times, just like DGN (have a look at the post count, I've posted more than almost everyone and I haven't even posted, not really.) I cannot be the only one doing this 'promotion" of DGN or the Cards or whatever. I could if my health wasn't shit, but my health resources need to go to things that 1. Keep me alive (and working on the store) Spending 3-4 hours for less than 5 people wanting cards (enough to spend 90 seconds asking for one here that is) is depressing. I'll keep making them but not forever. That means bug people to ask and bug people to bug people in case you are unfamiliar with promotion and delegating promotion (some people just aren't). If they don't care fine. I'm just not up to promoting uphill these days. I'm just trying to do my best on the store, my mental/physical health and try and be fairly social as much as I can. Although If I have to stop making the cards, Out depression I probably won't show my face much regardless. Is this overly rational? Not especially, but it is how it is. I can only speak up for myself 10,000 times my health won't let me do it on my own indefinitely. -
My mother and I have this unusual way of (very slowly) saving. Which was her idea and she does the vast majority of it but I'm trying to help. What she does is saves dollar bills with my dads first initial on them (B). They aren't worth anything its just sort of a game. I try to trade people my 1 dollar bills for theirs if they have any. Once we save 500 then we split the money which for me is ... a win since my mom puts WAYY more into it than I do. Although its slow as hell. My dad has been dead for several years and we started it like a year after he died. Just now above 400. If you have any ones laying around and could take the time to look if you have any "B"s that is the federal reserve seal of B (which means it was printed in NY) if you could set them aside and trade me at some point it would be appreciated. They look like this (The letters range from A (Boston) to L (San Fran) B is what we are after: Again I'm not trying to make any money these aren't worth any more than a dollar I'm just looking to trade 1 for 1. If you know anyone that uses cash regularly if you could ask them too that would be helpful. (That has been my problem so far I nor most other people I know don't use cash much.) If you go to the gathering that would be ideal but mailing 5 1 dollar bills costs 1 stamp which I can surely pay for.
