Just so it isn't buried in some gathering post: I posted it before but to re-iterate. Generally with the numbered cards (01/05 to 05/05) whoever asks first gets the number next in line (or can pick from them). If you have a Deegon. Then that trumps someone that does not. If you post after I make the cards, your post is still valid but I won't be able to take it into account when making the cards in terms of your specific House Spiral Rune being on the card. So: People Asking Person 1 w/Deegon - Card 01/05 (or their first choice) Person 2 w/Deegon - Card 02/05 (or their first choice) Person 3 no deegon - Card 04/05 (But still far above someone that doesn't bother to ask here) Person 4 no deegon - Card 05/05 (But still far above someone that doesn't bother to ask here) Person 5 w/Deegon - Gets 03/05 (or their first choice) New Person (that didn't ask here but does ask at the gathering comes next) Regular (that didn't ask here but does ask at the gathering comes next) When we start to get 10 people asking regularly I' switch it from 1-5 numbered cards to 1-10 Tron gets no 5 regardless since its the one she wants and she has helped with time/money/effort SO much with many things which should be an Ultra Mega Uber Mondo Red Dragon but that doesn't exist yet.

Hiya! I was just thinking about you a month or so ago. Nice to see you. I've not really promoted DGN actively in ages so the overall activity level is pretty low, although still steady. I remember meeting you at CC like 10 years ago and at that time thinking... well I already know this woman since she's been on dgn since forever. 😄 *random hug* There are several topics that you started that are still active. Even after just year message boards have always had a big user turnover so a year later maybe 50% of the same people will be there. Then 50% of that 50% ... When you have someone that stays for years (like you back in the day) that rare. Even on huge message boards like Reddit, that same thing happens (worse on Reddit since its less social). How has life been going? Do you live in Michigan?

Hrmm. Doesn't seem canceled at all. The headline probably will kill attendance though. Permit for a bunch of automobile enthusiasts to show up in one place makes sense but NOT having a permit won't stop anything other than if too many people all bunch up in one spot the cops might come and bitch at them to 'disperse' but so what. I'm actually thinking this might HELP the event if the organizers handle it right. If not this year, then next year. This kind of publicity you can't buy.

Last Week's Card This Week

The cards from last week were done but I was sick and Bobbi (Sekhmet) who usually brings them when I'm unable was sick too. I made them wed night last week so everyone that asked in last weeks topic before Thursday has one at least that I can hopefully bring this week. This week's cards are almost done I just wanted to post something about last week.

...and now my gallbladder apparently is all fucked up. They aren't sure if they have to rip it out or just get rid of the stones and 'unidentified' matter. At least it's something other to worry about than bills and the never-ending PTSD anxiety/depression/nightmares related stuff. God damn it I wish I could just go back to work. I literally never worried about money once I got my career going (Good money and non-expensive tastes works well). Now i can't justify buying a book or two I've been waiting for a year for. Well, maybe things will turn around. I'm still a workaholic just no one can see it. Can't tell you how upsetting being a leech on society is. But I'm still trying. I feel like a real human Snuffleupagus. Still tired 24/7 but I've been just ODing on caffeine to try and get SOMETHING freaking done (Long term that is not a fix since i've tried this before and the eventual anxiety becomes too massive and then crash. Couple hours of chores and time on housespiral.com still not profitable but it's getting better. If I had just started this month it would be profitable its just the learning curve was so high on the more psychological aspects of it and what actually works vs what 'looks good' is something only testing and testing and testing can tell you in a particular niche. But most of all is just ENERGY. rawrrrrr WTB energy. *tries to finish the cards before he passes out*

It's human. People are some range between very good and very bad. I was raised Fundementalist Christian. But now I'm probably most accurately described as an atheist. I do know 'good christians' that do their best to apply their beliefs regardless of the given situation. (I can respect that despite disagreeing with the core concept of organized religion ) The 'claim to be christians' that are especially vile are not so much 'the people' (i know there are plenty) But elected politicians especially on the right. The act the exact opposite of what Jesus would have wanted but use it to gain power. That is just so disgusting. They are pro-life until the day their mistress gets pregnant. God damn we need to make sure and vote. Less than 90 days. Aybody but a republican. I like to think of myself as moderate left but until that piece of human garbage its gone (if he goes, since liberals don't vote) I'm a democrat. We just have to make it >deathly serious< of a prioity to EDUCATE , VOTE and WIN not quibble about lesser stuff. That includes his whole ass kissing party.

I wasn't around when he was really active but I read books about the history of comics and he was a really big deal. Marvel wise he was just barely below Kirby and Lee. 😞
