I want to go out but the anxiety/depression/irritation aspects of the PTSD are INSANE and have been since last Thursday. From age 25 or so I took "do the right thing" to heart. I do my best if someone rubs me the wrong way I just suck it up or do my best to smooth it over. Somehow I've I can't ever remember that happening in the reverse. I try to position myself to be as nice as I can. Do I screw up? Sure. Almost went to the hospital just to "warehouse" myself for a day or so so no one has to deal with this scary rapid cycling psych stuff.

Hi @Luveday glad to have you. I lived in A2 for many years (went to U of M) miss the area. We used to have a TON of people from the Ypsi/A2 area on here but not as much lately. I think we have like 5 car-less people from out there that I (thought) at least one would have a car to come to our weekly get-togethers but I couldn't scrounge one up and its too far away for me to drive there and back. Yes, around here anyway apparently cats count. I was told this several years ago and since then I say things like "do you have children? Then the furry kind? I think every single person active on the board right now except Draco and Nitewolf have cats. (they might too I just am unaware) lol Old GF of mine was SUPER active in SCA and still is. I like the idea of it I'm just always so damn busy with 900000 other interests (or them dang 'life responsibilities" pesky things.) What kind of stuff do you read? Just curious. Littrrally watching robotech episode 1. Seems like some creation from an ancient time. Rick Hunter just made his first ever appearance in that red acrobatic air plane. So huh... 'Robotech' is actually very well explained right here. I somehow assumed the term was just some random 'sci fi' sounding term with no background.

Fascinating fact: the pentagram despite having close ties to the occult was first widely used as a symbol for christ. (Point upward) the points symbolizing the 5 wounds on the cross. But, it predates Christianity and possibly even humans as it has been found on some of the oldest caves in existence (some debate if non homosapien hominids had the ability to use symbolism) made long before man could read, write or even know how to plant seeds.

Tron, I have 50 things going at once right now but just thought of something, could you remove the 'upvote' choice from reactions? Its pointless without a downvote, as "like" and the other 'positive' reactions serve the same function just making upvote confusing. Especially to people that have never seen it before (Facebook and the like don't have such things as upvote, that is for forums like this so you get a feel for the collective reaction to posts, but downvote here might cause unnecessary drama) (confused and sad shouldn't count as anything in the 'points' part of the reactions, all the rest should just be +1) If there was a "love it' i would count that as +2 but there isn't one (the trophie meaning 'thanks' is odd, just thinking out loud not suggesting anything be done about that part per se.

Just writing this here so I hopefully will get to it at some point (seem to be running around like a chicken with my head cut off every day since i only have like 4 hours of 'functional' time before the sleep deprivation kicks in and I become worthless for things that take a lot of concentration. (working on that almost daily though... damn it, not gonna give up there. Remove all notifications of all sorts. 2. Set default notifications to only include: reactions, quotes, tags, and replies to topics that the person started themselves. Getting involved in email marketing pretty extensively due to the business, people marking your email as 'spam' because they are just getting overwhelmed with notifications/emails is baaaaaaaaaaad. The way it is now unless users go through figure out how to turn off notifications (hah) they get spammed with way, way too many. (and changing it for 'future users" is nice, but the vast majority of our posters will be existing posters which needs a script or some such to run in the SQL (which for people that know about it apparently is fairly easy, its functionality that is there, it just doesn't have any clicky-click admin interface way to do it.
