We are talking about... Imaginary creatures, right? (You'd be surprised) I really like dragons. The housespiral.com 'sigil' is a dragon-like creature. I have figurines and all sorts of random dragon stuff. Although I honestly don't like seeing a ton of dragons in anything like stories and movies and things. I like them being sort of rare and mysterious. Not ... oh look ANOTHER DRAGON YAWN. It should be like 'omg! a dragon!" like a once in a lifetime experience for a character. The awe-inspiring nature of dragons just gets lost to hell if they are constantly shown all the time. There is an interesting game that has no fighting, no real leveling, no points system for Android called "Merge Dragons" I wish the graphics were better but it's a neat idea, sadly it's another 'dragons are cuddly' type thing but its still a neat game. 'War Dragons', on the other hand, is more like 'real' dragons probably would be , you know... dangerous and kinda scary, not like pet dogs.

It seems crazy to 'self-examined' people that this sort of delusion is pretty common. People just never learned to look at things even remotely objectively. It's all about how "I feel" or "what I believe" not... let me look into this and see what is going on with <whatever> without putting my personal nonsense into it. The level of cluelessness that first girl had is this concept gone insane. I think about it pretty often and even read books about this subject. 'Why People Believe Weird Things' and "50 Popular Beliefs That People Think Are True" are two of my favorites. They might be a bit of a hard read. There is a really interesting chapter in Shermer's book (weird things) about "why SMART people believe weird things". Even people like say... me ... that should know better believe things not based on fact and are blind to it without realizing it. It's just a frustrating quirk of the lizard part of our brain that we make huge mistakes but would have no idea that we did it without massive proof. Our memory and perception are flawed more than we realize. So idiots have no chance. Hah.

Welcome Your favorite number is 15? Cool. Rarely do people have favorite numbers that large. I don't have a specific favorite number but I like numbers. Especially what are called Fibonacci numbers. They are a whole subject by themselves. It can be very frustrating. You try to be helpful. Then he'll go ahead and be a little prideful. If you are trying to do good, and all you really want in return is some appreciation over time, it can get to feel worse than if it only happened every once in a blue noon that your assistance was ignored/taken for granted. Try not to let it make you bitter. Eventually the people that care about you will/do notice. If they dont... well maybe they just f-ing miss out the next I'm you want to give them a leg up with some torn wisdom! *stomps foot* *nods* I'm serious.

Embarrassing that there are no replies to this. It was also Rabbit day. In case you don't know what that means the first of the month you are supposed to say "Rabbit rabbit!" or bunnies! or something similar (doesn't matter as long as it has to do with rabbits) The tradition goes back at least to the 1800s (in 1902 its recorded that 'as the children are want to do" so apparently it was common practice at the time) and since "lucky rabbits" is suspected to go all the way back to Egyptian times or older , its not hard to imagine this being much older than the 1800s. Probably much much further back but that is the most recent time that we have written evidence for. The silly superstition is if you say that on the first of the month the good luck will help out during that month. If not ... you're on your own. It goes along with a well-documented tradition that whatever you are doing on the first of the year is an indication of how the rest of the year will go. Not that I believe any of this crap, it's just interesting/fun/funny.

Same as every day for the last month. Trying not to pre-jump off a cliff due to very little sleep freaking out about the 1000+ hours I've put into housespiral.com and might likely have to shut down just due to not enough time (read: money) to get all the kinks out, there are a crazy number of moving parts and while you are working on things and figuring out how to do things efficiently bills rack up and even though there is money coming in its not (yet) in the black. Still working on it every day but it's not the 12 hours a day I wish I could put in, because of my damn health. It wouldn't be a problem at all if I was still working. But since I'm so utterly totally broke even like 200 bucks means I'll have to just shut the whole thing down. Which might happen at the end of the month. I'm even more worried about how I might react.

Once a month? Nah. Yeah, I do have things I'm freaking out about but cards or not wouldn't put a dent in that. In case i'm the only one that noticed its the ghost town that is the problem. lol *watches tumbleweeds blow around*
