Ok i changed the white background DGN skin to "DGN Innocence"

I was thinking about calling "workfriendly' just "DGN White" but thought it was easier to put the seed in peoples minds "hrmm yeah maybe that'd be better at work/school than the standard one" DGN White does sound a bit more... descpritive.

Meaning "the standard one looks more interesting" basicly?

oh and which color scheme do you think is best for the average user, that hasnt signed up yet but is thinking about it.

Well its part of the standard "new version" of Invision but the colors and some settings were causing various menus to not display properly , that might have been one of them.

In the upper corner of each forum now there is a button that says "forum options" with several different things you can do, one of them is "mark forum as read ..." =) Probably a delay in some new board files being deleted/changed. When i make a change to the board, if its a critical enough file sometimes the delete-update time lag could cause the board to seem "down" when really its just the time lag of the files replecating from my computer, to the nearest web server then to whatever network of computers it has to replicate across to get to your comp. Im not anticipating that happening as most changes i'd make at this point are smaller ones that wouldnt take the main index offline like that.

Dear Friends, Still working on lots of little problems here and there but the "scary" part of upgrading the board is over. Just have a bewildering pile of small things to workout but most of the "big" stuff is taken care of except adding the ... dum dum dum... spellchecker (shudder) There are three different "skins" (and all 3 are still works in progress) but you can switch between them via a drop down list in the far bottom left hand corner of the board. Its a pain but i figured people would enjoy more options with the board look. Please feel free to post any concerns or techical problems you notice here. Its amazing how many hours it can take to make a seemingly minor change. Been at this like 8 hours a day.

Thanks for the input. I've listened / watched most all of the above from time to time. I was hoping for a station i could turn on at 3am in the monring on my late night fast-food runs. I guess im going to have to get used to the fact that there is no full-time "intelligent talk" station. Yeah last night i ended up listening to BBC World (NPR feed). D&D lol. Yeah i used to listen to them, due to that being the ONLY talk station that was on at the time. I think it went like Howard Stern, D&D, the Tom Lykus then these sports talk guys that never actually spend much time talking about sports (cant remember their names) then Love Line(phones?) cant remember the name of that show either. Wait a minute AIR AMERICA is on the regular radio around here? Only place i ever heard it was on the internet and on my friends HAM radio back in the day.

Omg its mallochai. *hug* Yes, yes you are naughty. I've been able to fix most of the "big" problems but there are a lot of smaller glitches, (the biggest one being various picture issues) that i think are only going to get fixed by a board software upgrade, which i try to avoid as its usually a major pain in the ass , but i think is needed. This upgrade thing will happen soon, like this week. After i get all the glitches that will becasued by the upgrade, then ill see where we are at technical issues wise. Yeah i've been hiding out in my cave a.k.a. "Troy's Hiddeyhole". I've peeked my head out a few times recently though. Feeling a bit better. But really just a bit. If you promise no loud noises and big huge crowds of idiots, i'd be glad to spend some time with you when you come. =) Hopefully my health will be in tolerable shape. Nice to know your around and about. This whole living in another state thing is unaccpetable. Way to far away from me! What about my needs??? :laughing

My Controls > Options > Change Email Address and if that doesnt work you do have access to virtually all the admin functions or at least you should. Still showing your old profile? Hrmm. Not sure what thats about, probably will have to wait until after the board upgrade. Might be pointless to try and fix it until after that.

Is there a political / talk station in the detroit area? I dont listen to the actual radio much but when i do i try to find some sort of political talk and i really cant seem to find anything. The closest thing is NPR which is ok, but often it also (especially at night) is playing music. Sometimes i actually end up listening to one of the dang christian stations on AM just because i'd rather listen to someones point of view and/or some sort of "story" than listen to the same 20 songs played over and over again.

What is this? Positive vibes eminating from CC? sweet. =D Yeah spook that rocks. Back in the day that'd happen at least 5 times minimum.
