I could see a day when only the wealthy can afford to go to the best sporting and music events. The rest of us normal people will have to just watch on big screen. Talked to someone who does the sporting events, (I wouldn't have any idea on that...) and she said she almost can't afford any seat these days let alone a really prime seat. That they are well over 100 bucks, sometimes 200 or more. Tix to black eyed peas: 238.oo each + fees: 500 Unless you want to stand up front = 400 ea. That is why these days I go for the smaller venues usually bar concerts and outdoor festivals. Hope to go to the Satori Circus...10 in advance, 15 at the door. Possibly the ann arbor folk festival...have not checked out prices but prob reasonable... Thinking about going to more local theater shows as well...live theater is always a good choice. My dad took me to plays as a teen...usually only 10-20 bucks.

I too, have never felt it right to charge for a spiritual gift...unless its a talent like music. But like psychic healing or reading...no. Now if someone wants to GIVE you something because the spirit so moved them, fine. But you should not 'expect' anything and stay humble. I used to think when people got greedy the gift went away but have since learned there are people out there with incredible gifts who abuse the hell out of it and seem to hold onto the power. Kinda discouraging and confusing...
