  1. At least at home. I've learned that there are many fine beers in the US. As long as you avoid anything that is labeled "Light". But there is nothing comparable to the good old Augustiner Bräu from Munich's oldest brewery (established 1328). Forget about all the other beers from my hometown, thats what the locals drink, from the workers to the CEO's. The brand is so deeply rooted to the city that the company had no advertising department. Also the bottle design hasn't change for the last 20 years. It's not a special taste, but good enough to drink it from the cradle to the grave. And, as I remember, in some of the best moments of my life where one or more bottles Augustiner involved. Tomorrow, I will celebrate my return with a couple friends at the brewery tavern, what a come back. So far, Prost (for the next 684 years)
  2. Brother Ed from Uncle Scratch's Gospel Revival. I recently found out that he passed away.
  3. I have no plans for tonight. Maybe someone wanna hang out?
  4. Cooking and beer drinking, excellent combination.
  5. A cemetery as a tourist attraction? A burial vault that is open to the living? A museum dedicated to funerary tradition? Only in Vienna. Not for nothing, the city and its residents are said to have a penchant for the morbid. Or, to put it in the words of the Austrian singer-songwriter Wolfgang Ambross. "Long lives the Zentralfriedhof"
  6. Hey, thanks for all. I had a lot's of fun.

  7. Of course I remember. And, yes it was 2007 when I was here. I think I'll come next Saturday to City Club, maybe one or two can remember my face. To sum up, it's good to be back.
