  1. I have sooo many Eggy Bread, microwaved cheese and branston pickle sandwitches, and refried sunday dinner veg with steak sauce. these are things my dad and I made when left unsupervised on a DIY day. I have also been introduced to blue steak, sushi, and my wife's cooking
  2. I'd just like to say a big Thank you all. this forum not only introduced us, but its members, our friends, have saved our sanity on this on more than one occasion, things would have gone terribly FUBAR without the intervention of some key people here, I wish i could take you all with us, seriously. once were able to we will return to visit what i call, OUR detroit Family.
  3. http://housecall.trendmicro.com see if this picks up anything
  4. spook, some supermarkets have gone overboard. Tesco for example to save liability need to ID verify you if your buying plastic disposable cutlery, just incase
  5. its fucking stupid and further my arguments on why the Labour Party has been the worst thing for UK common law since... heck i dont know when
  6. and how is this not a troll post? completely insensative and was not called for. DGN play nice rules apply to all
  7. thanks all. it kicked back into life again. just one of those things
  8. i never did like the thought of the pledge of allegiance every morning in the first case, its seen by a lot here in Britain as fascistic and brainwashing. a proper pledge of allegiance is given of free will anyhow
  9. more room than the MAZDA and 2 doors not 2 and those ugly suicide half doors
  10. Does anyone have an old PC monitor we could either borrow for a short time or purchase?
  11. balls of British steel. file that with the British soldier who threw himself atop one early in the war and survived http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1583289/Heroic-marine-throws-himself-on-grenade.html
  12. i want these http://www.esseyepro.com/Crossbow_detail.html#_overview esp as i can use the lense carrier in my V12's in them (one less opticians bill)
  13. the Brits dont use things like that, the band alone would break the seal. the British respirators have an alternate version for glasses wearers and have a clip in lense carrier. been looking for both for years. especially as the smokes people use now are realy realy effective in the game. as for masks i agree with Marc. but needs to be a box filter on a sam browne strap with connecting tube
  14. it is very very odd how similar Phee and myself look...
  15. the rover K series is quite a marvel but a little too fussy, overheating can be quite catastrophic, so much so they say you should change the water pump every time you change the belt to be sure but very popular in brit restorods, MG's and Morris's
  16. agreed. tbh this is toyotas first major scare that i can think of. ford have racked up 2 that i can think of on the top of my head (Ford Explorer, Ford Pinto) of which ford begrudgingly moved to modify or discontinue. as far as Europeans are concerned. BMW engines are not what their cracked up to be, the BMW engines in the land rovers barely have enough power to get the truck over the centre hump of the lift without gunning the engine (and possibly prompting a front end, tool chest and rebar wall sandwich). Peugeot-Citreon have cracking diesels, but only recently caught up with their gas engines (they used BMW sourced for a brief stint on larger engines aside from V6 models). Renault are just plain inconvenient (pull the wheel arch liner off and reach in and feel around for the headlamp bulbs to replace). Opel cars run dirty diesels (they really are behind the times) and do stupid things like use plastic for selector linkages, and a friend is scrapping her 7 year old opel astra (Saturn Astra) because the crank bearings are so badly gone everyone notices when she pulls into work. Mercedes had a bad run with galvanisation in mid 90's which nearly destroyed thier loyalty base. fiats.... we dont see many fiats over 9 years old on the road. my frinds 12 year old fiat coupe was just 2 years of "WTF is wrong with it now" and came with service history of a new cyl head fuel rail turbo and ECU being changed after 11 months. a lot of cars have thier flaws. the toyotas i have owned in the past were awsome
