    If anyone has folding/lawn chairs, you may want to bring them, as we have none. PMs with times, and directions to both Jynxie's house and the ceremony location will be going round. Keep your eyes peeled.

    yeah lucas blows. the land rover support have go around the lucas. sometimes as far as a ditch off the engine and its wiring (seeing a few modern jag v8's in an old chassis.) We are sincerely hope its the battery, that was jip before it was laid up. if not, breakers yards.

    thanks all. Marc: i think that a jumper start again would be most handy and this time as if its like our cars, that light will show unless the engine is turning even if the alternator is duff. positive side is that the alternator if it is that is easy to reach (damn frogs bury theirs)

    semi functional. :( the battery doesn't seem to be taking charge, or the alternator isn't playing ball. one of those two. we also need to get that very worrying tyre sorted. least we know the starter is OK
