i am very much considering a jag X type for next car. same group of insurance banding as some of the cars i am considering and same CO2 emissions as a smart car, but a little less fuel consump at 40 miles per gallon, but its like 2 grand cheaper for a car 2 years younger. economically sound atm, plus theres a staisfaction i have owned a jaguar in my life (even if it is a reshelled ford mondeo), and its a classier car than most of my managers and thier managers so wouldput my mood right at the end of a shitty day

my current ride: Peugeot Partner Combi Quicksilver Ltd Ed. 60 Litre Tank, thats 15.85 US gallons Fuel is £1.29 per litre, which equates to £77.40 or $153.19 most of that is duty and VAT (Value Added Tax), now I'm sure duty is tax, so why the heck are we taxed so heavy? twice! i know the wholesale price of gas has risen, but does the government need the big hike in thier earnings... no they can do without if they cut waste and cut down on their expense accounts (in a lot of cases their over their salary, and for things like second homes and childcare which the rest of the country is being told to foot the bills yourself)

life is as complicated as you make it. i get twitterpatted on occasion but live with it safe in the knowledge I'm pretty hard work in a relationship and it'll fail anyhow. why cause hurt on both sides, or why ruin a friendship with wierdness.

none. i hate those tribal tatoos people do. but theres a gothic belly dancer who goes by the name of Aureliah who has an interesting take onthis style of tatoo if i were to get one it'd probably be rockabilly/psychobilly inspired.

on theme of dieselpunk. i think a few here would like "Cashern", a Japanese film i found to be a little differant (though it still has a bit of silly fighting in it) the story and imagry are verry verry good

Shemagh scarves. recent thing here is to coppy the british issue scarf in a full aray of colours and drape it around your neck like a fookin huge bandana with tassels. nothing looks more daft to me considering the times i wear it out of greens/tans its folded discreatly to fit under my collor in winter (because its the warmest scarf i've ever had including neck gaiters)

bugger. my first project was to steampunk my MP3 player as the casing is battered, bent and held together with film splicing tape (yes really) but the HDD on it went kaput today :(

Abney Park - Lost Horizons getting an awfull lot of play here since i joyfully received it

bugger metropolis (anime) go rent the original film! i do highly recommend it as a good silent movie (not steam punk related but the cabinet of Dr Calagari is also worth viewing). Abney Park's last Album is also highly recommended (or better still as their on your side of the pond, see them live if your in their patch)
