This is way too complicated to explain completely in a post. I will keep it as short as I can. My husband's son from his first marriage is 26 years old. He has spent most of his adult life going from job to job being unable to keep a job for longer then 6 months. Something always happens. He gets let go, he gets fired, he gets hurt and can't work. You get the picture. He has recently ended up basically homeless living with different people. He moved in with some guy about a month ago. Now that guy says it is time for him to get out. For whatever reason I am not sure of. This afternoon when I came home from church, my husband told me he is going today drive down to Ohio and pick up his son to come live with us! I guess that his son called him crying on the phone saying he has no place to go and the guy he is living with is kicking him out today! Of corse when I heard that he was coming here like right now It did not go over very well with me. I mean we had been talking about it but I had not fully agreed to it as of yet. After much yelling and screaming from me I finely gave in. God help us all is all I can say and I mean that sincerely. As I do not know how this is going to turn out. I guess my husband just good not stand to hear his son crying on the phone bagging him to please help. Please don't judge us. My husband is a very loving man and thinks that what he is doing is going to help turn his son around. I just hope my anti-anxity meds hold out.

I'm not sure about this. I mean what makes 21 the right age? I have know people who got married at the age of 18. Under this law their husbands would be arrested and wrote up as a sex offender. Or their wives even as I know someone who got pregnant at the age of 21 by her 18 year old boyfriend. They got married end up divorced all of that. But under this law, she would have been arrested. No, I don't like it. The law says your an adult at the age of 18. There for you should be allowed to be treated as an adult at 18. You can go to war at 18. But you can't have sex? As for teachers having sex with students who are 18 years old. Fire their butts.

I would say do it too. It maybe that you pass it up thinking you're going to be working only to find out that you're not working. Then your stuck at home being depressed because you're not working and you missed your opportunity to be doing something you want to do. Meanwhile if a good paying job comes along between now and then ,well that would be something you would have to weigh. But I think if right now you have nothing else going on, I say go for it. Being out of work and doing nothing can get a person into a dark place they don't want to go. Good Luck to you. I am happy for you!

I am looking at houses for sale by owner and rent to own houses. I have found that in order to get the real info on these places I have to register and pay a monthly fee. Seriously, if I was selling my house I would want to give everyone who wanted to look at it the opportunity to do so. So my dumb question is why do they make it so hard just to look at their house listing? I feel I shouldn't have to pay money just to look at a house listing. I would think that if someone really wanted to sell their house, they would be doing everything to get the info on their house out there. Not limiting their market to just those who are willing to pay a monthly fee to view a house listing. I really don't understand how this world works.

Thanks for the info. After the truck got repo years ago. I promised myself I would never have another auto loan again. But these everyone approved credit can be tempting. With what you have told me I see that this may not be the way to go. And I should stick to what I said years ago.

Just a question. The car dealerships that advertise stuff like ," all credit types approved , past bankruptcy, repos okay ect ect". Do they really mean that? Would they really approve someone with bad credit ? I'm just looking around at options here. Is there anything sleazy I should know about places like these?

I kid you not on this. My second grader's teach has given all the kid's parents in her class a homework assignment due in tomorrow. Here is what it say on the paper my daughter brought home. It's not a big deal but is she serious? I already passed second grade LOL! If I don't turn it is she going to take away my recess time? I think teachers given parents homework is just wrong somehow.

Another thing. Back in Dec. I was 2 weeks behind on the electric bill and DTE sent me a shut off notice! I was like what the crap! It's only 2 weeks pass the due date and they send a shut off notice! I got it paid but I could not believe that they would send a shut off notice just being 2 weeks pass due!

I remember only having 3 channels on the tv. If you had cable you got maybe 6 channels. To make a long distance call you had to hit the 0 on the phone for the operator. And you got a real person not a recording. Then you told them who you wanted to make your call to. People use to write letters to each other. It was such a happy moment to go to the mail box and find a letter from your best friend or a relative that lived far away. I'm sure to think of some more stuff latter cause I'm very old. LOL

Well, they dismissed the case. They sure do like screwing with people. Though I am not sure what this means.

LOL this use too happen to me. When I was in my 20's and dating my now husband, people thought he was my father. I was waiting in the car at a gas station once and the lady working there said to him "you and your daughter have a nice day." When I would go to the grocery store and write a check out for my groceries the cashier would ask me if my mother was in the store and is this her check book you have? People selling things door to door would knock on my apartment door and when I would answer they would ask me if my mother was there. To which I would just say no and they would leave and not try to sell me anything. It was very annoying at the time and a bit of a pain.

We filled out the required paper work and sent it off to the mortgage company. They sent us a letter saying they got the paper work and we have been assign a person to help us through the loan modification process and that a decision would be made in about 30 days. Saturday I went to pick up the mail and received an evection summons with a court date! We are fighting this! This has to be so wrong on so many levels! We are fighting!

I'm thinking no one is going to help me because I don't have 19 kids and a reality show.

I feel as though I have been stuck in the same day for about a month now.

Assuming you believe in ghost and I do. I just wonder why do you think that some sprits linger about, haunting certain places refusing or being unable to pass into the beyond? I realize no one can give me the 100% right answer. But it would be interesting to think about.
