Got back from our trip up the mountain to see David's brother and the Leadville Boom Days.... and David got to be part of an old west costumed shoot out! it was VERY COOL, but really loud.

The food smells good. I wish i didnt hurt so much today... I hate cat puke. It was our punishment for being away overnight, i think. Im reading a really good book....

Awww.... i wish i was still in-state. We definitely qualify as non-douchebag, and have two very spoiled furry babies already. ....although, i think our cats wouldnt be horribly appreciative of another attention magnet in the house.

I've a vacancy for Mondays! www.forgefirepress.com Basically, if you haven't visited yet, its a project where the participants are collecting content until they've written enough for a book, which will be print on demand with the Forgefire Press name mentioned somewhere on the cover. Everyone retains all their own rights, and makes their own money. They post on their day (which in this case is Monday), 1000-1700 words every Monday. The site concentrates on either collections of short stories, or novels. Content on the site runs mainly to Sci-Fi, Noir, Fastasy, and Horror, but I have an open mind. All I ask is no Erotica, and nothing too terribly tasteless. If it warrants more than an R rating, it may not be for us. Writers for the site also are agreeing to have content for most weeks--if you miss say three weeks in a row, it may be assumed you've abandoned ship, and forfeit your spot. We have myspace, facebook, and twitter accounts, and I appreciate all help given with attracting people to the site, and keeping readers informed of your posts. I had one of the really OLD thick CRT models. Theyd be lucky to get 20 bucks for it. meanwhile, i get to shell out 500 bucks to get the glass and THE ENTIRE FUCKING DOOR fixed. They BENT the edge of the window, and ive got a leased car. Even if i plan on buying it, i have no choice right now. They have to replace part of the door and re-paint the front and back doors.
