Damn, C., knowing you in 2011 and now, I feel like you got your wish without it being corrupted. But in the spirit of the game, and pretending it’s still 2011: Granted. One day, while on a walk in the woods with @NomaD, you hear rustling in the bushes. You freeze and slowly raise your finger. NomaD turns around and tries to block your line of sight but you roll a natural 1. The basilisk turns you to stone. Years go by. The area is developed. As a statue, you hold up pretty well. It is incorporated into the center of a park. And about a quarter mile away, in the very direction you are pointing is the “Life Sensory Deprivation Institute” I wish I had some sushi to eat right now.

Like the old threads in the “other stuff” forum and the “DGN hello forum”. Threads like “make something up about the person above you” or “the corrupted wish game”. There use to be tons of those that were played pretty regularly. All that hilarious nonsense.

I think @creatureofthenyte and I should necro some of the old game threads and make people laugh at what we post. Or at least make each other laugh. Ok, maybe we will only make ourselves laugh at our own posts. Reviving legacy games will be entertaining for all. Ok, maybe just for us.

For sure.

Yeah. It probably slowly started in my mid 30’s but I figured out what was actually happening in my early 40’s. It crept up slowly. Greek yogurt helps me get a tolerance some. At least it plateaued and hasn’t gotten too much worse in the last 8-10 years. Dairy and an adult onset shrimp allergy. Too bad there isn’t a pill for that one. (Well, Benadryl I guess) but that one is noticeably worse every time I accidentally eat shrimp, which surprisingly happens once or twice a year.

I have a similar problem with dairy but have found that lactase pills will save me to a point. I just can’t go too crazy with the cheese and butter and such.

Why does one armpit always smell worse than the other?

Hmmmm. I have the opposite problem as KBK and I doubt my testosterone is going up. (Thank god. I like having all my hair). I’ve just blamed it on getting old and smelling like an old man so far. -
The home protection thread

My tea light gargoyles. I never researched the names of my numerous indoor gargoyles, although the fella on the right looks like my first post, Silas. Just the big concrete guys outside. They are the heavy lifters when it comes to home protection anyway. 😂 These 2 normally sit up on a dusty china cabinet. They are the couple that came from the shop I can’t remember the name of at the ren fair but in different years. -
It’s a never ending cycle. 😂

The Exorcist: Believer

Just got back from the academy award nominated live action and animated shorts at the DFT. Very little comedy this year compared to previous years. Many were depressing. Glad they saved Wes Anderson for last.

You should post a picture. I have 2 different ones inside that hold tea lights. They both came from a shop at the ren fair in different years. I can’t remember the name of the shop but they had a lot of resin wall hangings and things for shelves. I think it was somewhere close to the archery area. I will post them next. -
I always worry about the volatility of something like NVDA, although it does have a fairly attractive graph 10 year graph for all its volatility. Its P/E ratio is too high for me and makes me worry they are overextending and I won’t get out in time. Its high price is also a turnoff right now for me. As I get older, I am leaning more towards the dividend stocks too. I kinda like VZ at the moment because of its low price and fairly high dividend. (O) also has some appeal with its monthly dividend but I don’t trust it as much to not crash out even lower than it is now, and it’s P/E ratio isn’t as appealing as (VZ) for its price.

I honestly can’t see myself running into you and not calling you Cher. Unless I’m being a total smartass and call you Penthesilia
