Though my body hides it well, I am feeling the 90 lbs of extra weight. I am a BBW, but I'm sick and tired of being one. I want to be a SHW, again. (Skinny Healthy Woman). I have the diet down. I know what I can and cannot have... Today's the day. I will fill my soul with icky sticky gooey goodness, then I am going to sit down and write up an exercise program for myself. This is getting ridiculous. I know this should be in another thread, but this is just the back story for me feeling MOTIVATED!!! LOL (I've lost so much with diet alone. But I'm not 17 anymore. The body's older, deals with things differently. Its TIME to make myself FEEL different! ^_^)

I just took this to show off my new hair cut... and I fell in love with this picture. Its my absolute favorite picture, now. I look so much like my mom, when she was 19. <3 ( say "19, because I saw a picture of my mom, when she was 19, and in that picture, compared to this picture, me and her look almost like the same person. I think we have almost the same hair style, except she has actual bangs, on top of having the face-frame hair cut. I wish I had that picture so I could show you, but sadly, I do not. :( )

I didn't want to post this on Facebook, for obvious reasons.. but I found pictures of my dad, and my three half siblings. Yeah, I cried for like 10-15 mins straight... Sadly, they are all dated 2008, so I don't know what's happened since then... But I sent a letter to someone's brother, in regards to my dad and such, so hopefully I'll hear back. I had a dream about him last night that made me pick up the search again....

I am feeling frustrated... *sigh* it feels like my laptop is losing more and more of its functionality... and i fear, that when this one goes, that will be it... I won't be able to get another one, for a very long time. Room mate wants to get me a desktop. Though, those are easier to come by, I just don't have the room for one... especially since it won't come with a thin monitor that will leave room for a keyboard (My desk doesn't have a keyboard tray). Its a tiny desk, that barely has room for my little laptop and my lamp lol... so I'm pretty fucked. and not in a good or pleasurable way.. *sigh* I don't even want a new laptop. Lord knows my IBM was a dinosaur and weighed probably 10 lbs... I just want something that won't crap out on me... and yes, I know, "get a Mac"... if i COULD get a mac, I wouldn't be complaining about not having one

you know that feeling you get when you hear/see something stupid? and then the person doing or saying said stupid thing, keeps adding fuel to the fire? I feel like my brain melted a little, dribbled out my ear, and left a stain on my shirt. I feel considerably dumber just by reading something, someone else wrote... and no, I won't say who and yes, I'm sure you can guess... but I will neither deny, nor confirm, if you get it right... lol

hunny, you probably should, even if all you get for your efforts are nasty words thrown at you. At least he'd know. : as for me... I am going to go lay down after the room mate's get going. I didn't sleep very well last nigh (actually, I didn't sleep at all), so I'm just going to sleep a few hours here and there... hopefully I can stay on a daytime schedule.... *sigh*

not to justify, because I think its horrendous, but a lot of apartment complexes, in some states won't allow cats because of the smell of their urine...... yeah, if you can't live with an animal as is, then don't get one.... surgically altering a pet, unless MEDICALLY necessary, is just cruel.

Those were beautiful. I envy all those that always look like they know what they are doing, when it comes to being photographed. Me, I look like a scared deer. I have no idea where to put my hands or feet, or how to tilt my head or anything important like that lol Oh well. Good thing I never kidded myself into thinking I could ever be a model. I'd have to tell all the photogs: "I'm a doll, you will have to pose me, because my body's broken" Anyways LOL yes, I am aware that its blurry... but I still like it... yeah, if they are on facebook, and you have a first and last name, you can narrow it down by state, at least... if you have a picture of your father, you can at least see who resembles the guy, from the list... You can also do the same on MySpace... And Rev said Google. You'd be amazed at who you can find, just on Google.. Have you tried looking them up, in the yellow pages, seeing if they are listed? (online, I mean) I mean you might get 1000 names as a result, but if you can somehow find an address, you can cross reference the two names, and see who lives close to each other... if they both live in TX, chances are, they live close to each other.

House doesn't really do it for me anymore. All caught up on Bones... Seen enough of Lost to not care... Heros might be a good idea, but I've missed way too much, and I don't think IceFilms.Info has all the episodes, thus far... The Link DENVER – The Air Force Academy has set aside an outdoor worship area for Pagans, Wiccans, Druids and other Earth-centered believers, school officials said Monday. A double circle of stones atop a hill on the campus near Colorado Springs has been designated for the group, which previously met indoors. "Being with nature and connecting with it is kind of the whole point," said Tech. Sgt. Brandon Longcrier, who sponsors the group and describes himself as a Pagan. "It will dramatically improve that atmosphere, the mindset and the actual connection." The stones were moved to the hilltop last year because erosion threatened to make them unstable in their previous location near the visitors center. Crews arranged them in two concentric circles because they thought it would be a pleasant place for cadets to relax, Longcrier said. When Longcrier and academy chaplains were looking for an outdoor worship space, they discovered one already existed in the form of the circles. Lt. Col. William Ziegler, one of the academy's chaplains, said designating the space is part of the school's effort to foster religious tolerance and to defend the constitutional guarantee of religious freedom. "It's about our commitment as airmen to protect freedom and defend freedom. To me this is a freedom thing," he said. The school also has worship facilities for Protestant and Catholic Christians, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists. The academy superintendent, Lt. Gen. Michael Gould, has made religious tolerance a priority. It became a concern in 2004 when a survey found many cadets had heard slurs or jokes about other religions and that some felt ostracized because they weren't religious. Longcrier and Ziegler said they've heard no criticism of the new worship space but both noted its presence was just made public. "Not to say that it's not coming, but so far we haven't had any real issues," Longcrier said. He said 15 to 20 cadets have shown an interest in Earth-centered beliefs, and eight to 10 regularly attend Monday night meetings. Of those, six or seven are devout believers and the others are "searchers," Longcrier said. The academy has about 4,000 cadets. The school is one of five U.S. service academies, including West Point and Annapolis. Cadets graduate as second lieutenants. "Earth-centered" spirituality encompasses many beliefs, Longcrier said, many that recognize multiple gods and goddesses and observe holidays tied to the seasons. Longcrier said he personally doesn't consider gods and goddesses to be actual beings but personifications of natural events that human ancestors wanted to put a face on. "The goddess is symbolic of the Earth," Longcrier said. "Do I believe I'm worshipping this female entity living in the Earth or up in space somewhere? No. The symbolism is very important." The group's meetings are usually devoted to mediation, lessons or ceremonies, he said. Longcrier, who oversees laboratories in the academy's astronautics labs, said he has military designation as a "distinct faith group leader." Anyone is welcome to visit the new worship site but it should be treated as a religious structure, he said. A formal dedication is planned in March.
