Well, if you all know me, you know that I don't like to keep things the same at all. I like change when it deal with appearance. (background images, things like that)
SO the old theme I use to use to change the way that my browser looked was getting really hard on the eyes. With the small screen of my laptop, its too close to the eyes and is too big.... so I got rid of it.... Seeing an ad for Google Chrome made me wonder if there was something similar for Firefox. There is....
The only thing is, it doesn't change the way the blank pages look, or the area behind the page (who cares, cuz its covered by a page, and a blank page/new tab doesn't stay naked forever so whatever.) What matters is that it changes the way the top and bottom of the browser. I'm talking the navigation area with all the buttons, and the area on the bottom where it shows the progress of the page loading, ect...
With all that being said, here's what my page looks like now:
(yes, I took a screen shot of this very page, becuase I'm just totally awesome like that )
Here's how it works:
Go to Tools.
Click Ad-Ons.
Click Themes
Even if it is selected, click on the default one.
Now, go to http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/ and get the ad-on
once that's installed you can use it how you see fit. Its awesome.
Have fun.
If you use it, take a screen shot, and share with the rest of us. Don't forget to save it in ".png" format, otherwise everything will blur and look icky.
