LOL we did seem to have a few in there last night. On the second week of every month we bring in Dark's Choir who runs I Nation in Bowling Green Ohio on Wednesday nights.(Very fun time) In Ohio the music is more guitar based and definatly has a more metal edge to it. With the inclusion of Audioflesh the other resident from BG we got in a a larger influx of Ohio people last night. Part of what I love about Monday's is our unique diversity of both the crowd,DJ's and music. Last night with 5 DJ's over 5 hrs each trading off with each other every 5 songs was not our normal format You should def come back next week when it's just Void 6 and myself with Betamax opening(great guy to get there early to hear) You'll find a less Jugaloo vibe I assure you. Let me know. I'm happy to guest list you and who your whole car. No special events next week so you'll also have more room. Our normal numbers will be in the 600'sall summer for our regular nights so you will find your more of your friends I promise. Jinx

I could not agree more. It is however even better when you get to DJ for a packed dancefloor with 600- 700 people who ARE into it. I have been really fortunate at Necto to have an extremely open minded, dance oriented crowd. If you are going out to a club on a Monday night you are there because you love to dance and are dedicated to the scene your in. I have heard from numerous customers over the last year that they didn't go out on the weekend to save money for Monday's. It's great to see all the enthusiasm that the crowd brings every week. It's been a real privileged to have that kind of wonderful support. Jinx

The only DJ who plays Gaga spins at both clubs. It does very well every time he plays it at Necto and from what I understand does just as good at CC.

It was a fucking blast. Saw many old friends and danced my ass off. Great crowd the upstairs venue really suits them. Good things for plastic passions year 2. JInx

Looking over the 3 pages of responses on this topic I cannot find one point where Saint offered "Constructive Criticism." On the opening band he said "no comment" and on me he did nothing but trash talk. Even after it was clearly explained online that I did not DJ. He knew I was not DJing as we spoke, however briefly as it was on the smoking patio. If he was not aware before his post. He was after the thread continued of my non-involvement due to technical reasons. Yet offered no retraction. After I posted that I did not DJ at all, Kat still took the time to fan the flames some more and attack me. All in all this thread has had taken a nasty turn. If any of the moderators are watching where we are currently, one request. Can we for the love of God just close this thread and the Whats Wrong with City Club thread. Lets try and diminish the negativity that has prevailed so much this week. Before the moderators act lets all show self-restraint and close this on our own. Can't we all just get along, Don't tase me bro, Jinx

That is a shame you might have fun. Judging by what you listed in your profile under music you propably won't be dancing much but you may enjoy the diverse atmosphere. You'll never know. Jinx

Just because things get broken by the clubs patrons in NO EXCUSE OR JUSTIFICATION for not fixing it. It's called maintenance and upkeep. In theory it is what at least a fraction of a clubs profits from cover and drinks should go towards. When a customer walks in the door and looks around can they see or in the dancefloors case HEAR any of their money put back into the place? Nevermind Improving. How about just maintaining? That being said the DJ's are great. Jinx

Well of course I wasted no time in advertising it. I was only asked to do it on Friday. The Crofoot gave us 10 tickets to give away at Necto with the stipulation that we we promote it heavy for them. As we have a great relationship with them and have helped each other in the past. I was more than willing to help get the word out as soon as they asked me to do so. BTW PROPS to the Crofoot for booking the show. Unfortunately for everyone involved we had technical difficulties that were out of our control that prevented me from being able to do my set. I only had one continuous mix cd in my case. I had already known what I wanted to play and didn't bring all my music for a 40 min set. The mix cd was played from the sound booth and after it was given to the sound tech that was the last on my involvement of when or how often it got played. That was an old Necto mix CD that I did a few years back and none of what was on it was intended to played last night. On the plus side Monday I'll de dropping it down and it's pretty hot. Everyone involved just tried to make the best of a bad situation. Hope that clears things up for you. JInx

Was going to drop down my factory 2010 set from my new CD but in the end it was nice to relax for the evening even if I was a little disappointed about not spinning. JInx

I did not DJ at all last night. Their were technical troubles with the mixer before I ever started. They used one of my old mix CD's that is it. I had no control of the music or when it was played. On the bright-side I was able to enjoy the show with my friends without working . As Paul Harvey would say "thats the rest of the story" Was as fun time I had a blast. JInx
