Angry! I hate Southfield, I hate my neighbors(but I like where I live),I hate the system and how it is more oppressive to people trying to be law abiding citizens and gives more protection of rights to criminals. I hate how I always have to clean up other peoples messes, literally and figuratively. I hate being asked to go without breaks over and over because the hospital doesn't want to pay nurses and doesn't know how to do staffing. I hate people twisting my words and telling half stories in order to make themselves look good and/or cause trouble. I hate having to defend myself because of those asswipes. I get irritated that it is assumed that I will sleep with just about any male because I am single, sexy, friendly, and flirtatious. Um, no! I would never be grumpy if I were to partake in that much action. I hate that the warm weather is done already! Ok, done ranting for the moment.

It's getting closer! Rehearsals are going well, I am scheduled to hit the stage about 1:15am. Of course, this is show biz, it can change. Both iconic and lesser-known photographic prints, as well as never-before-seen material including contact sheets, magazine layouts, personal ephemera and archival material are included. All photographs are from the Avedon estate, and many are vintage prints. Avedon began his career at the end of World War II in New York City. Influenced by photo reportage and the innovative eye of Harper's Bazaar art director Alexy Brodovitch, Avedon revolutionized editorial fashion work for magazines in the post-World War II era. At the young age of 23, his work was fresh and created to rejuvenate the Paris fashion market after the war. As his career developed in the 1950s and 1960s, Avedon captured the independent lifestyle and spirit of the times in women's clothing of the period. In addition to his fashion work with celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor and Barbara Streisand, Avedon was one of the first high-profile photographers to work with African American and multi-racial models including Detroit-native Donyale Luna and the Eurasian model China Machado. Avedon continued to dominate the photography world until his death in 2004. Works from the 1990s include his collaborations with famous models on the fashion scene including Kate Moss and Stephanie Seymour. An exhibition catalog will be available in the Museum Shop.

I'm sorry I had to miss it! I really wanted to make it out to congratulate Tszura and Nightgaunt, as well as see everybody. However, with work, all these performances, and rehearsals, I really needed to spend some time at home with the offspring. One of these days! Of course, much like last DGN appreciation, the next one is also scheduled for my work weekend, so I will not be able to make it.

I honestly thought this was a joke. I don't watch tv, listen to or read the news. I have chosen not to because it makes me too angry and depressed; ignorance is bliss. Yes, I have chosen the right path. The current state of things have left me with that feeling like after being in the 7.0 earthquake. It was so surreal, like it wasn't really happening. It's just a horror movie, right? This simply can't be our country, our world. I prefer my escape from reality until the world comes to its senses.

I'm disappointed. I should be used to that by now, here anyway.

Showed up after performing Dirty Show. Yes, Marc, huge douche bag factor last night. Actually, the worst was a couple, the woman kept grabbing my ass, which I'm kinda use to and not so much an issue, but she thought it was ok to touch my breasts repeatedly even after I told her not to. Had to wait until it cleared out to get some good dancing in. Because it was after a performance, there was lots of schmoozing to be done. I'm rarely out anymore, and it's usually after performance, so I am still networking/promoting/schmoozing. I really appreciate the understanding of my friends here that know, even though I don't get to spend as much time with them as I would like, they still mean something to me. It was nice spending some time with you all, even if it was brief.

Closing night at The Dirty Show was amazing! It was smooth flowing, lots of fun people, good reactions from the crowd, and plenty of positive feedback. I love the stage! Thanks to all for the support and cheers! Dirty Show 11 will be awesome in February!

I am a non smoker, so it does not effect my life; however, I am just about in a state of disbelief and angered by the entire thing. I could rant on, but what point would it have? I am extremely disappointed with the state of things.

For those of you that noticed that even the Ice Queen was considering a break from the single life, I would just like to say.....I am so flippin' thrilled I came to my senses! I am 100% enjoying the single life, and all the wonderful things it can bring. I am just too damn sexy to be confined in the restraints of a "relationship". I said "restraints" No, but seriously, I am very much enjoying the single life and it's perks. Yes, it is different for me then probably a lot of people. I am living it up while I can.
