And this is how people give away their authority to governments. Once we let them do this, it will be difficult to undo. And you have no one to blame but yourself for being complacent and letting it happen. There is no "what if" here. They will abuse this. They are not putting it in place to not use it.

While you are all focused on the union/tax portion of this, you're ignoring the scarier part - the part where the governor and his minions can, for all intents and purposes, take over local governments and implement their own policies in those municipalities. Hello fascism.

Mike... Did you even watch those? If the numbers are even remotely real, there's no shared pain. Snyder is proposing to basically transfer the corporate taxes to seniors and the poor. You call that fair? That's not even the bad part of this. It's not that he's proposing to dissolve unions, it's the stuff about the financial manager and those appointed by Snyder to unilaterally boot out anyone, including elected officials, they deem necessary to "fix" the cities financial woes. They just made themselves kings.

I wouldn't call it moral. Perhaps it's desirable, perhaps not. What's not moral is the deliberate and systematic hoarding of resources by a small segment of the group.

No no no... This is Bill O'Rielly - One of the biggest jerk douchewad assholes to ever be allowed to roam the earth freely. Exceptions should be made for him. If anyone deserves to be made fun of, he's it. Fortunately, he makes it easy.

I think it has more to do with the longevity of the venue/night. Sooner or later word gets out to the "regular folk" and they start coming for a little "adventure." The Lab was around for a while but it was even more underground than City so maybe word never got out about it. Something Cold was too new and never really caught on with it's intended crowd so no surprise that others didn't show either.
