Sorry, Not the fruit. πππ«
This post is about LeMons, the endurance racing series for (supposedly) $500 cars. The name is a parody of the 24 Heures du Le Mans, the French 24 hour race that celebrated it's 100th anniversary this year.

Why am I posting about this? Because tomorrow I leave for the weekend to go racing (driver) as part of a team running an event at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Indiana. A few of you know I used to race as a hobby. In the days before kids, divorce, financial troubles, etc... This is the first time doing wheel to wheel racing in 20+ years. Should be both fun and funny, since part of the LeMons series is a lot of humor. It's kinda like racing and cosplay at a comedy club. πππ€‘
To help understand the spirit of LeMons racing, watch a few of their race wrap-up videos.

Better yet, read this article on some of the best (ie. most notorious) cars ever to run a LeMons race. If you don't feel like reading just look at the photos:

And this is a good video on driving the specific track I'll be driving:
You may now return to your regularly scheduled gothing...
