I can suffer terrible indigestion, well maybe I should say could suffer. Was I Prilosec deficient? No, as it turns out I was actually salt deficient. Two days after I added 1 tsp. a day to my diet the pain stopped. Turns out that we need sodium chloride to help with proper calcium absorption. The flip side is too much and it can speed up osteoporosis. Consider this. The four basic food group promotion was invented, promoted and funded by the dairy association. The food pyramid was put into effect after massive amounts of lobbying by the food industry. Where these truly designed for health, or are they there to brainwash people into eating in a way that benefits specific sectors of the food industry?

Consider this. The Wall Street Journal reported how drug companies raise prices simply to increase profit. The specifically pointed out Calgene Corp. witch originally sold a drug at $6.00 then jumped the price to $29.00 even though they had zero factors to warrant the increase other than their legal requirement to increase profits. Consider this. The most common medications to treat headaches are: Tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline and nortriptyline. SSRIs like fluoxetine and sertraline. Beta blockers like Propranolol and timolol. NSAIDs like aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen. Opioids like codeine or hydrocodone. All illness can ultimately be boiled down to a deficiency of some form. Is you body aspirin deficient? Have you been getting enough hallucinogens? Waza matter, did you forget to chase the dragon? Consider this. You always hear "Give us money to find a cure!" "Run for the cure!" Benjamin Franklin was right when he said "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." but you never hear "Give us money to find the cause" "Run for the Cause!" and none of these lucrative charities are researching the cause. Why aren't they curing by preventing? Because it doesn't make good business sense. Logic dictates that if you are profiting from a charity you want that charity to out live you. Logic also dictates that it is more profitable to treat a person for years than it is to cure them.

Take your medicine: Getting a flu shot is part of being good neighbor First Ill go after the title. If my neighbor get a flu shot then he has nothing to worry about whether I get one or not because he is completely protected right? RIGHT? Next I'll go after the fact that the article is presented as expert fact rather than opinion but no one has put their name to it. In almost all cases when this happens it is a sales pitch disguised as news. I'll also point out that the Longview News-Journal in order to protect itself placed this in the Opinion section. On to the article. In red is mine. I aint kidding about this. When someone tells you any vaccine is harmless, do your research. Go and look at the side effects on the CDC website, demand the insert and read it. And when you see that even the manufacturer says it can harm you then call that person a shit gurgling lire and stop giving them your/your insurance companies money. HELL DONT EVEN TAKE WHAT I SAY AS TRUTH... LOOK IT UP!

Remember voting for the lesser evil is still a vote for evil. I have said it once and I'll say it again. The two party system works like this... The give you a left hand full of shit and a right hand full of shit and say "Sniff them and pick the one that stinks the least" and people do exactly that. Then typically 8 years later they give you two more pieces of shit that stink worse than the one you absolutely refused 8 year prior. Here what flips me out about this election. People who claim to be liberals are still going to vote for Obama. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? The patriot act isn't liberal. The 2012 NDAA is not only anti constitutional but anti liberal. Starting more wars isn't liberal unless you look at it like "Liberally starting wars." Expanding Guantanamo isn't liberal. Assuming the right to kill citizens that without trial have been proclaimed terrorists isn't liberal. Making it illegal to protest federal officials “visiting any facility” who have Secret Service protection isn't liberal. Calling torture, pain compliance in order to keep torture legal isn't liberal. Maybe I am wrong and liberals don't stand for social justice anymore they just lean on "willing to discard traditional values" including their own at a whim. Or maybe the "Liberals" that want Obama in again aren't liberals at at all, because Obama sure looks like a Authoritarians wet dream. I mean in less than 4 years he has succeeded in more than doubling the leading 2 termers executive orders and both of them had so many that they can only be called The Dictators of the Imperial United States of America Inc.

Most people key in because it is an ingredient that is difficult to get away from. Others point out that there are enzymes that naturally occur in fruit that helps you process the fructose that does not exist in the refined product. Others will key in on a serving of liquid being only 8oz and we are trained to call the 20oz bottle 1 serving so don't understand that there is more than 31g carbs in that bottle (77.5g). Are you going to eat 13 apples a day? or intake that average soda drinkers fructose, 26 apples a day? Pop Sausage McMuffin (Ya probably knew that HFC was in the muffin but did ya know that Corn Syrup is in the patty too?) Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli (Yup HFC) Fruit Roll Up (corn syrup, dried corn syrup, the fructose in what little fruit they actually contain) Yoplait Barbecue burger (In the sauce, the pickles, and the catchup. Some brands of fries even have it) It doesn't seem unreasonable to eat all that in one day till you add up how much Fructose you are eating.

What I know is that many scientists have been wrong. There have been many reasons for being wrong but the number one reason is they wanted their theory to be correct. Did you know that NOAA debunked all of the doom and gloom global warming models, by pointing out there has been no significant rise in average temperatures since 98? I'm skeptical of all priests, it doesn't matter if they wear black and wave religious icons or white and wave test tubes.

I would have to see all of Vohs data before I take the word of someone writing an article. You know haw many time a reporter only read the abstract and introduction then proceeded to write about some minor miracle when if the read the entire procedure it would have turned out to be bull? I wont give a hypothetical dime to a hypothetical charity. I would also like to see pictures of the people used to join. I'll admit I can be superficial. I can tell you that if given the choice between cooking lessons and a catered meal I'll take the lessons every time because it is better to be able to cook for others than it is to be a richy bitch and pay someone to do it for me. It also happens that every catered event I have been to, the food was bland. Anything I know I can do alone will get done alone so there is zero chance of having someone else to blame. I would fail the hot water test, but that's because I'm a welder. Iz gives no crap about ball games. To me they are part of the modern Bread and Circuses. Now lets assume zero subjectivity. How many times has the test been repeated? How many people have participated? How was it decided who went into what group? Did they take anyone from the control group and attempt to prime them? If so, to what result? I've been suckered by many a scientific claim only to find out the methods used where terribly fallible, evidence to the contrary was excluded, doctored, guided or combinations. Remember some basic facts. Bloodletting was once PROVEN to cure most illnesses. It was PROVEN the sun went around the earth. It was PROVEN that the Earth followed a perfectly circular trajectory around the sun. How about this speach? "Today we have more information and knowledge about the cure and prevention of disease than ever before in the history of mankind. The advancements that have been made in just the last few years have given us new insights about the treatment and prevention of virtually all illness and disease, making it safe to reach two major conclusions: 1. Even though just ten years ago we thought we knew the proper treatments of illness, we now know just how little we knew back then. 2. With these revolutionary breakthroughs in technology, virtually all illness and disease should be wiped out in America within the next ten years. We are on the verge of entering a phase where a person will never be sick. And if you do get sick, your doctor will be able to cure you of your illness in a matter of days. We have virtually reached the pinnacle of medical knowledge." That was a speech from 1902.

It is what makes the human or sentient mind different from instinct/programming. There are many different computer programs out there that pass the tests just as well if not better than any animal, yet none of them display subjectivity and are therefor not sentient. Adding to that, because we can communicate so well with computers we will most likely encounter a sentient computer before we can prove the sentience of a living earthbound species. Now it may just be that once we have a sentient, it in turn will prove the sentience of many species, but currently there is no proof.

Self awareness does not equate to sentience. Having feelings doesn't either. The ability to reason out an outcome isn't it either. Neither is subjectivity. You have to have all four. You cant cherry pick portions and claim a whole. That's just bad science. Now claiming the possibility is a valid claim, hell I claim we can't possibly be the only sentient creatures in the universe and some may very well exists on this planet but possibility is not proof.

Really? Then I must be dead a dead man typing. I must be imagining what my community did for me and my family without government interference. I don't belong to a church so it can't be blamed on a small group of people I knew well. It is because you get what you give. Every community I have lived in I have volunteered in and this one was no different. People want to help those who help and those who are physically or mentally incapable of helping themselves. If I didn't have to pay for some bitch who has another kid before the money runs out (yes I know several who do it) who take their kids to Disney every couple years on the taxpayers dime, then I would have more I could put into the betterment of my community. You have to fix your house before you worry about you neighbors, you have to fix your neighborhood before you worry about the next one over, your town, county then state. There is nothing wrong with helping the needy, it is forcing someone to help that is wrong. I have traveled a lot so that I could find out exactly how different people where in this country and I have seen how groups with the same name differ except one. The group that screams we need to tax everyone to take care of everyone is typically the first to refuse to donate and volunteer locally. Oh no, don't buy that little kid a jacket, that's what tax dollars are for. Oh no, don't help that bum, donate to a national organization that will only use 15% of its intake to "help" people. Look at Bloomberg, spent most of his life as a Dem and now it is illegal to give food to the homeless. Even most shit bag Reps pale at the thought.

It is this "I think terry little of myself" attitude that gives those with a little power the mistaken belief they have a right to remove liberty. They are my rights by birth and no one gives them to me. They are natural rights and I will not give up those rights. It is better to be murdered for refusing to give up something that can not be given than it is to lay down like a subservient dog. They are you're rights and if you willingly suppress them because someone tells you to, then you are a problem because you are just reaffirming their mistaken belief and making life harder on everyone. Nymada, I am special. I come from a long genetic line where each mutation made the following generations superior to the last and obviously vastly superior to those not within the line. Are you trying to tell me we just showed up out of the blue? When you can prove cetaceans and squid have subjective experiences then I will stop calling Paul Watson a pirate that need to be keel hauled. The ability to reason does not sentience make.
-
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Basic human rights are determined by 1. The fact we are human. 2. By our sentience. The reason we list being human over sentience is because we recognize non sentient humans as human. They are our natural rights, infringe upon them all you want but you still cant take them away.

The existence of conspiracy theory's doesn't invalided the fact that this country is being incrementalized towards a police state. It doesn't matter if it is happening because of some grand plan of living skeletons and their fat hideous descendants or because its purely accidental, it is happening. Making light of it only helps it come to fruition.
