  1. Grimm A fantasy, mystery, crime drama. NBC Fridays 9/8c Debut 10/28/2011 I saw the season premier episode yesterday. Meh number 1. I'll give it 5.5 out of 10. It is a crime drama where the premise is fairytale creatures have a basis in reality. Because it is on NBC I expected better than the first episode of Buffy (I didn't start watching till s03 and still haven't been able to sit through s01) but then again ABC proved a major network can quickly produce a supernatural flop so I don't really know why I expected better than Buffy. Hopefully e02 "Bears Will Be Bears" will be better.
  2. So far I am impressed. I'm hoping some "brilliant" executive doesn't decide to ruin it with his vision.
  3. I usually have a 3 episode rule but I am giving it one more, if I am still meh then the wife will be watching on her own. So far I feel nothing for any character, in fact so far the only character that has appealing substance is Constance and I think I am biased because for decades I thought Jessica Lange was hot.
  4. The safety problems are 2 fold. The first is the jackoff assholes who run the show ignoring proper safety protocol to it improve the bottom line. Be it refusing to replace things according to schedule and waiting for them to appear obviously stressed or even fail, pushing for increased production causing the workers to skip steps out of fear for their jobs. The second is the age old fear of losing the job preventing people from refusing to ignore proper safety procedure. Most industrial accidents are preventable but wont be until the leaders from supervisor to owner/chief executive officer become able to be held personally accountable.
  5. First gubermint will just "force" companies to sell smaller sizes by requiring stores to report anyone who purchases a certain volume like they do with KNO3(potassium nitrate). Second I could make a worse chemical bomb getting ride of the works and a simple refinement of wood ash. Personally I hate hydrochloric acid(HCl) anyway, the smell makes me want to vomit every time. So if it got restricted no big to me except more tromping of our liberties. NaOH(sodium hydroxide) or KOH(potassium hydroxide) are a much better choice than HCl but the frelling meth labs got them severely restricted, thats why the just buy batteries instead. NaOH and KOH are both more useful at home than HCl. NaOH Paper making Cleaning agent Ingredient in Hominy Corn nuts Kutsinta (Filipino dessert) Pichi-pichi (Filipino dessert) Lutefisk (Scandinavian delicacy) Century eggs German pretzels Chinese moon cakes Traditional Chinese noodles (yellow because of Lye not egg) Black olives [*]Hard soap KOH biodiesel Soft soap Cleaning agent Nixtamal flour Can be used to replace NaOH in many food recipes. So if the government is restricting something with a much larger and irreplaceable home usage, there is no reason for them not to restrict something that can be replaced by a scrub brush and pipe snake.
  6. Maybe I will maybe I wont. But I can say that none of them know what they are taking about when It comes down to effecting the earth, the system is to vast for the pitiful comprehension level we as a species contain. Think of it like this, their logic dictates that if the earth is warming up then the sea levels will rise. Yet the sea levels have dropped more in '10 & '11 than the rise from the previous 4 years and 11 isn't done yet. I can explain this phenomenon using global warming as the culprit but the supposed experts are stumped.
  7. Mmmmhmmm and until the papers are actually published all we have are unsubstantiated claims or... business as usual for NBC.
  8. Personally I would have picked Or better yet a rigid plastic William Shatner mask, ok ok so now it would be called a Michael Myers mask. Man it has to suck when a fictional character steals your face.
  9. It is because of the last scene in V where everyone adopts the mask and remains anonymous. Or should that be Anonymous? It has nothing to do with the loyalties of Fawkes, anyway it is better than looking like Martian Man Hunter.
  10. The first person from metaldyne division I worked at to reach retirement age since 2003 brought something to everyone's attention. There is no pension. We where suppose to be able to draw $35 dollars a month per year of service vested after 5, and it was suppose to be from some government regulated and controlled account. It is gone, and because of corporations being considered an entity and the entity no longer exists, no one can be held accountable. Even with a union, you would get screwed. If the gov didn't out right stop paying it to you, then the union would find a way to take it from you or the banks would out right steal it from you through the Fed. Hell more like they would split it, leaving you about 2% so that they could claim you getting something. They only thing it is currently doing is pissing off Libertarians and conservatives. The Libertarians over the last week, week and a half have been systematically turned away and those that where already there have been getting harassed. Those that refuse have have been ignored buy the media in favor whiny sosh cry baby bitches. This in turn has caused many conservative who do have half a brain to turn away and plug their ears because hey lets be honest. There is not a person in the world with half a brain or more who will agree that a hippy sosh who never worked a day in his life deserves a dime for doing nothing but demanding it.
  11. I use to defend myself, even ended up getting a supervisor fired for claiming I gave him bad information and attempting to fire me. I got a union president fired because he was stupid enough to make me report to him in his office and close the door.
  12. I'm not sure, I heard about both at near the exact same time. I would have to go through my phone records to find out witch one I heard about first. However OtW sounded like a co-opt of the other Occupy the's to me. I mean all the information is so vague that it put the early Occupy Wallstreet vagueness to shame. I do know that I heard the name Occupy the Fed months before I heard of anything else but that only shows I was listening to libertarians a little more closely.
  13. You aren't classified as cured until they can not find any trace for 5 years. So, diagnosed 4 years ago, transplant 2 years ago, 1 year left to be cured IF all traces where eliminated the day after diagnosis. No transplant should have been given.
  14. The mainstream is covering it now. (see last line) I have to worry when it comes to unions because of the already distorted message they put out. It has been infiltrated by provocateurs to make the cops look less villainous and the mainstream media isn't showing anyone moderate to right. The wanna be insider pundits who lie by claiming to be conservative but care for nothing but their pockets, are all stating that this is just a liberal movement too. I think that the coin is desperately trying to redivide the people that are there and prevent additional unification. This weekend I am going to be across the street from 165 West Quincy Street, Chicago, IL. OCCUPY THE FED! Hope my map is right and I can bypass the tolls and still save money.
  15. OK guys start flaming, but he should have died a wile ago. Only pure stupidity allows an organ (A) transplant when they are terminally ill from cancer in organ (B).
  16. And just before it happened he looked into the camera, giggled and said "Watch this."
  17. The government makes middle east allies and create groups for the purpose of having an enemy later. We give Iran fighter jets. Funded the Taliban against the pinkos. Invented Al CIAda. Funded Hezbollah. Decided that the Libyan rebels where ok and backed them even though they admitted to being lead by al ciada. Hmmmmmmm, Perspective? NOPE! Just confirmation of reality.
  18. This also shows how lopsided the media is, very little mainstream coverage but exploded all over independent media.
  19. What I am saying is, occupy Wallstreet is clearly a non partisan attempt whereas occupy Michigan is clearly.... You know I dont know the word for people who want to force you to pay for your right to work. Mafioso?
  20. Unfortunately it only took me a quick search and reading 3 paragraphs on mlive before I found a clear labor union agenda.
  21. September 21,2011: Open letter to all federal firearm licensees After reading this it is clear that these color of law attacks are blatant attempts at illegally circumventing not only the second amendment but the tenth amendment as well. You also have the Veterans Disarmament Act. Makes sense considering they have sworn an oath to defend the constitution but can under threat of imprisonment wile serving. The No Fly, No Buy Act. It has been proven that most of the names on the list don't belong. I mean how do you place a 4 year old on the list but not its parents? SIGH
