I know, at least I think, you're just joking about this......I hope. The human species doesn't work like that. Even if you get rid of all but one culture, race, ethnicity, or group of people there will still be problems which will come up within that group because that's what we do. We're not capable of living in complete harmony right now, so even in Dr. Kamau Kambon's dream world, there would still be strife, and conflict, and people splitting with one group trying to take over the other. That's right, we ALL suck!

I know I shouldn't have, but my first reaction to seeing the footage this morning........ I value space exploration, but when I think of it in relation to the money spent, and look around at all the problems we still have left here on this friggin planet to figure out, I do get a bit annoyed. These things are so expensive! I remember reading somewhere a long time ago about this overpriced $200 plunger on the space ship. It's a plunger! I can go get one for $5.00 right now at CVS. Grrrrrr!

Unfortunately, it is a bit of a hike, and I agree with Raev. I'm not sure how many people would be able to make it there and back. It sounds like a blast, though, and sorry Eevee, but I'm for the 18 and older rule if this is supposed to be an adult party.

The customers violent reaction, I believe, is not the typical reaction someone would give. Maybe that dude just had a hard day, or has other mental health issues which were not considered. I probably wouldn't say anything because I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I've been around some stanky arse people before where I actually thought I was going to vomit. My sense of smell is dull, so when even I can smell ya, its bad. Peeeew! Aside from me not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings, I think its ok to approach the subject of body odor with people provided that its in the right way, considering, as mush as possible, the persons cognitive status, culture, lifestyle, and emotional/mental health and well-being. Just walking up to someone to say, "Hey dude, you need to take a shower," is inconsiderate, disrespectful, and just not cool.

I wish that the clubs would just send an employee in every now and again to make sure that the bathroom was at least decent (no puke, piss, blood (lol) etc. on the floors and such), and that all the supplies were readily available. Whether its an elegant restaurant, or some nasty club bathroom, I don't need someone trying to help me do my business, and then expect to get paid for it.

Well, I know it was a long wait, but in the end, I certainly didn't mind. I'm just ecstatic they came to this area. Diamanda Galas's show was cancelled a few years back in Ann Arbor due to poor ticket sales. We all know tours cost a lot of money, and yes, that's the risk and price they pay to promote and connect with their audience, but artists have to eat, too. I feel we got very lucky to be able to have them here, and many thanks to DP for being able to hook this area up with a phenomenal band! Whatever the reasons were for being late, I don't care. They're Faith and the Muse, and it was a cheap ass show. I agree with Osaka, it was the best damn show I've seen in a long time, and I would have waited longer just to see them play. Smalls is a great place to relax, and be with friends.

Last night deserves extolment in all languages! The planets must have been aligned properly as nothing crazy happened before the show started, and I finally got to see D:konstruct~WOW! What an amazing show! Insert a thousand bows here I can't wait to see you guys play again! Faith and the Muse were marvelous, as always The band always promotes a positive spirit while giving a kick ass show. I hope to see them again as well. It was our first time at Smalls, and what a great spot to see a band! They have plenty of space to chill out, great bartending, an intimate stage/show area, and an awesome jukebox. We definitely will be going back there! On top of the show, we got to hang out with a lot of wonderful friends. It was so good to see everybody!

If I start to eat meat again before MANFAST, I'll request to have my status changed to contestant. It would be a losing battle right now, because even though I've hung from hooks, I'm also a bit of a veg head which would pretty much equal -10,000 points in the competition right off the bat. Taking command of a nice big piece of juicy fish just doesn't have the same effect as doing the same for the slaying treasures of a cow, deer, or pig, lol.
