  1. Yay!!! You made it!! I was just going to ask you if you knew about DGN! lol So happy to see you on here!!

  2. Me too!!! Damn you Dead L-vis!!! **shakes fist in the air** Damn you!! LOL I YouTubed some of their other stuff, and it all actually grows on ya. HIM grew on me the same way......curse my enjoyment of melodramatic tunes!!
  3. Duuuuuuuude!!!! I think we just found our wedding song!! lol Did I see the words "tattooed bitch tits?" lol That's harsh, but damn funny! Now I have to go look at his other stuff! I do think his neck tat is badass!!! This video would have been much more visually pleasing had the object of his dead-fection looked at least a little gothy. I'd still rather listen to this guy than the screeching sounds from that chic from the Skeletal Family.
  4. I stole this from someone else's post lol Sorry I couldn't make it proper~my quoting function isn't working right for some reason, :0 lol Anyway, everyone give a big welcome to thatdeadgurl! She's been in the scene for a while. So happy you finally made it to DGN girl!! Welcome to the joint! *drum roll* The DGN (welcome) Questions 2.1 ™ © Formerly the "S.D.G.N.W.Q.P.S." 5. Welcome to DGN!! I agree with Hunhee~while the Warren/Center Line area may be boring, you are close to the action all around. I lived in Warren for 4 years, and it seemed as though I was never more than 20 minutes away from most cool events/places in any direction. And whenever I was bored, or tired of it all, I just kept reminding myself...."hey, at least its not the ghetto!"
  6. I've never set someone up on a blind date, but I have introduced people to each other, hoping they will hit it off. And with that introduction, yes I have shamefully tried to support and even create an enviornment that I thought would help the whole situation out. It's never worked :( For the future, I will continue to introduce people, but I'm going to leave it at that. "Owen, this is Delilah. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves. I'm outta here." AstrulCrux~your comment about being dissapointed in a friend who should have known you better reminded me of a similar experience. Long ago an old friend of mine invited me to the Renaissance Festival, letting me know that one of her husband's friends was also going to be there. She thought we would hit it off, and kind of got me excited about it. So I show up, and right from the get go it was a juvenile disaster. He pointed at big boobs all day, laughing, dared people to spank him with his whip, goaded the performers, and the absolute worst thing I saw..........he let out a "snot rocket," and was PROUD of it! We were all eating at the time, which made it even more special. I looked at what I thought was one of my best friends, and said, "really? This is what you think of me?" She spent the rest of the day apologizing as she should have
  7. Psssssst........it's a bunny! lol

  8. Loooooooove your avatar pic!! :)

  9. We had a great time!! We loved hanging out with everyone, and met some new people The food was wonderful! Fantastic job coordinating the event OMG and Rev! And that squirrel was hilarious! I wonder what it was thinking as it checked us all out!?! The aftermath feast for the animals, too, was sweet! There were so many, I think I even saw a couple of lambs, and a moose! lol Thanks for the fun time! Hope to see everyone again soon!
  10. My introduction to DGN began when my blind date never showed. It was an EPIC WIN for me After waiting all night at City, I went up to Fin to see if perhaps he was the person I was looking for~nope! We had a good laugh, a nice chat, and he spoke of DGN. So I joined, and now here I am with my wonderfulamazingsexy Nightgaunt, and awesome DGN family Soooooooo, while blind dates may suck sometimes, blind dates that don't show are the best!!!
  11. I don't mind being crazy Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I just prefer not to be spoon fed.
  12. While I was not a complete fan, I did enjoy a little MJ diddy here and there. And seeing Sean from City dance like a zombie to Thriller on July 4th was bloody priceless!!! He was a brilliant artist, and no matter what happened in his life, I think he truly was an innocent, pure, and peaceful spirit. Fame rips people apart. People used him, and his life was as far from typical. This may sound like a load of cheese, but I picture him as a beautiful songbird that the world just wanted so much to touch, and experience. The world wanted it so much that it was even willing to shoot it down just to have it. He is a tragic example of what fame can do to people. That poor man should have been seeing a therapist as a child. I look at pictures of him presurgery, and ache at the thought of the things that possibly led him to change his physical appearance so much. He was born a beautiful human being, but wasn't able to see that. :(
  13. And here she goes........ I can neither fully support, nor fully deny that we actually landed on the moon, and did a little walk about. I have my doubts on both sides. I think it's absolutely possible we did, but my doubts exist for a variety of reasons. Some of these reasons stem from the photos. While awe inspiring, some of the photos just don't sit well with me regarding lighting, and landscape. I'll admit, I am clueless as to what the moons atmosphere actually consists of and how that would affect the lighting, depth of field, etc., but some of the pics of the landscape just kind of cut off, and go nowhere. On this planet, we can see the horizon far off, and the sky after that. This doesn't seem to be the case with many of the moon pics. This flicker of doubt is just one among many for me regarding this topic. Whether it actually happened, or was a hoax, or it was a represenation of some partial truth, "doubt" keeps a healthy debate going about this, and encourages people on both sides to look deeper.
  14. Crocs give me jelly shoe flashbacks! Agh!!!!!! "Well pumpkins, it comes down to that age-old decision: style... or... substance?" Vida boheme-Too Wong Foo, Thanks for everything-Julie Newmar All apologies to those who really like them, but these shoes can go away........far, far away! I know they are comfortable, and I think these shoes are great for people who are on their feet all day, like nurses, and CENA's, but I just can't get past their "house slipper" like essence. And this is what bugs me about them........with tons of people wearing them, everywhere I go, all I see are people in house slippers! Yeah, it's my issue, and I just need to let it go! I know Crocs are comfortable, but I wonder how good they actually are for our feet. They may feel like walking on pillows, but they have no ankle support. I also find it interesting that after all these years, it's only now, when they are facing hard times, that they are thinking of new styles. They found a niche in the market, and exploited it! They've offered virtually no choices beyond color from the very beginning, and only now are trying to come up with variations to keep their head above water. I am actually interested to see what the Croc Pump looks and feels like, though
  15. YAY, BBQ tomorrow!!! Okay, so Nightgaunt is making some Tilapia, and I'm going to cook up some veggie chili. That's right!!! I'm actually going to cook something! Fair warning to all!! Be afraid!!!! Be very afraid!!! We'll also be bringing some plastic bowls, extra silverware, and some napkins :-> See everyone tomorrow!!
  16. Hooray!!!!! Hope to see you at the BBQ!!............sans condors!
  17. Of course you guys are invited! :)We'll have the same anniversary month, lol :) Awesome!

  18. Hooray!!!! So happy for you! All this crazy real estate business has me scared to death to buy anything right now! Even when you read everything, there always some dumbass clause that goes left unseen about balloon payments, or something weird like ya have to keep the home as it is for the next 50 years so as not to disturb the ghost of Uncle Larry. So glad you guys were able to get out of there! Good luck with everything, and hope to see you soon!
  19. Does that mean you're coming back to stay, or just for a visit? **clenching eyes, and crossing fingers that's its the former** :)
