Anyone else go on thursday night? just about week, I am so excited to be going on vacation, and heading to city club possibly on thursday night as well as for sure on Friday night.

Im in Sterling Heights for a few days, but have a rental car and also staying in Canton,West land,Romulus, but willing to travel to reasonable distance for good food. Ive heard SHts is very nice part of town. Ive been to Detroit metro area once before. .but still learning.

I was curious how the scene is on a Thursday night? I am going to be there on Friday night as well but the girlfriend wants to make it out and isnt able to on friday so we thought maybe I we could come out on thursday as well.

Haha, why after the club? Im really tyring to find someone that has crazy skills in bio mechanical tattoos.. but really havent seen many in Dallas or Detroit, I thought since I would be in a new city might be good to see if any artists that I like are up there.

anyone? I was thinking about getting some ink while I was up there.

Yes I am in Dallas! Yeah the place is pretty good, there has been a new contender in town for the past couple years called Panopkton ran by Dj Lord Byron. Its thrown at the old Club one , which now is Club Exxcuses. I think the scene there is a bit more friendly, always a hot of regulars, but its only on Friday , compared to The church which is at The Lizard lounge and is on Thursdays and Sundays. I would say at Pano, you get more music is more ecetik IMO, both are good though. The chruch is huge, with the two stories but so is the other venue.. so if you are in town try both if you are able too.

actually I cant wait to hit up city club, its one of the highlights to this trip, we are not going to make it up next year with some other plans we have but this year will be extremely fun non the less. I think I will be hitting city club up after a rehersal dinner, then off to City club.

thats the problem. We have just about everything. But what I ment and didnt express is chain restaurants. A good burger joint or mom and pop diner type places.. etc. We have an abundence of great food options here but since we are up in Detroit for a bit we just wanted to try new food.. Thanks guys.. only a few more weeks.

I am going to be in Sterling heights for two days, and I was curious on places to go eat, I dont mind doing some driving to get there. I am looking for places that a food would like, doesn't have to be expensive. Just looking for food or restaurants that they do not have here in Texas ( Dallas) thanks again all.

Not just organizational skills, but also the wanting of a club owner to help the scene, also any cost incurred etc. Its not easy to keep a weekly going, people interested and the night fun.

I wish i was able to be up there on a sat. night but its just not going to happen this time around. Friday nights it.

Well after a long well to do, I will be in Detroit mid part of September, due to family and wedding (not mine) obligations I will have one evening on a Friday to be able to go out and hear and see what Detroit has to offer. I know its some time away but I wanted to see what all was available. I am staying around Sterling Heights the night I am available. - Any suggestions on a friday night of places to go - How safe is city club and the area - I am into electronic, house, dark wave,nu wave, industrial etc music.. just like hearing good music with good folks. any help would be great, and Thank you in advance. once I make the general idea of where I will be and you would like to say hi or grab a drink let me know.
