  1. umm, a DGN event at CC in July would not be to my liking. at all. then again, I haven't attended any DGN event, so I don't really have room to talk.

  3. ^ that was Squirm, pomba. there was a remake in the works, but it got canned. no idea how far along they were; probably not very. the last 5 minutes or so of Carnival of Souls still creeps me out big time. so does the '80s version of The Thing.
  4. ^ this one...and I almost wish it wasn't. I love it...but every time I hear it, I say to myself, "what the fuck ever made me think that I could sing?".
  5. If they get tried as juveniles and get out when they're 21, I'm sure they have a bright future on Wall Street or as health insurance CEOs

Well...after listening to it repeatedly yeesterday, I got out one of my electrics and gave it a try. Didn't play it perfect, but I got a lot of it right. something to work on over the winter.
  10. behind door #1: $1,000,000 dollars!! behind door #2: Sgt. O'Malley of the FBI. you're busted!! how was your day?
  11. ahhh, ye olde Roland manual, lol! I have a late-'80s Roland D-50 with all the documentation, and the manuals (yes, there are two) are (and I'm being charitable here) quite hard to follow at times. back to the want list: this cute little micro-theremin!
  12. real name: You Are Honest and Open You are a very honest person, yet you somehow avoid being brutally honest with people. You know that the truth often does hurt, so you try to cushion the blow as much as possible. And because of your approach, people do appreciate your honesty. You're the type of person who complements before you criticize. You try to put the truth in perspective and make it seem not so dire. And whenever you're stating your opinion, you make it clear that it's just that ... your point of view. You can only speak your own personal truth. How Do You Tell the Truth? Blogthings: We'll Tell You The Truth... Someone Has To!
