were you ever into Severed Heads? SH leader Tom Ellard himself is posting mucho cool SH vids. I'll grab something at some point and post it here; there's a couple of slightly more obscure things I want to get to first, bwahahaha...
Hopefully, Natacha Atlas will come back through town at some point. I've seen her twice - once with TransGlobal Underground (she came out into the audience and danced with me!), and once solo. how all that power got packed into a 4'9" package is beyond me...anyway, here's my next contribution to this thread:
You Crave a Physical Adventure
Life has gotten a bit unchallenging lately, and you really would like to push yourself to the limit.
You want an adventure that gets your blood pumping. You want to test yourself and see if you have what it takes.
Whether you're climbing a tall mountain or sky diving, you won't feel like you've had an adventure unless you've accomplished something big.
You love the confidence you get from taking risks... as well as the bragging rights!
What Kind of Adventure Do You Crave?

^ how that was the result from the answers I gave is a complete mystery.
my initial prediction (4-12) was based on an assumption that they'd start the season 0-6. they've already won one game, so...6 wins might be pushing it, but I'll let it stand.
my 2 cents:
the Plymouth Coffee Bean's a pretty cool place to hang; I can recommend it to all DGN westsiders.
jynxxxedangel: that would be a Chinese coal mine, btw.
all I have to say is this: the guy committed a felony the minute he left California. the state has to punish him for that alone. wouldn't matter if he was innocent of the rape charge; he fucked himself when he decided to run.
1) Rio had it in the bag; Obama hadn't been involved with Chicago's bid (other than rooting them on) and didn't decide to go over there 'til last weekend when it became apparent to the Chicago delegation that they were going to lose. In football, they call that a Hail Mary pass. Given the tens of thousands of jobs that it would bring to the Chicago area between now and the end of the 2016 Olumpics, it was worth a shot.
2) Rightly or wrongly, the IOC blames the US Olympic Committee for the massive corruption scandal surrounding the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
3) Do any of you apologize when you do something wrong? Seriously, you all sound like a bunch of 5-year-olds.
