Life of Pi is a children's book that's apparently big in Europe; I've never even seen a copy, much less read it. I don't need to. JPJ's the best director alive imo, and anything he puts out is an automatic essential view for me. I heard that Avatar may get pushed back to 2011, btw. :( Cameron's still saying late 2010, though.

Not much to tell from my end; didn't actually meet him. Bobcat was in town to host the Detroit Music Awards at the State/Fillmore(he did that a couple of years in a row). He must've ducked outta there as soon as he could, 'cause he was there for the Cramps' entire set...or so I'm told. I didn't know he was there until my friend Johnny came up to me and said he'd spent the 1st half of the show hanging w/Bobcat. I was like "??" - he pointed up to the St. Andrew's balcony, and sure enough, there was Bobcat on the railing. This was Nov. '94, btw. I've got an awesome poster from that show; it's almost 3 feet square. Gonna cost $$$$ to frame, though. :(

GH opened for the Cramps last time I saw them. Bobcat Goldthwait(sp?) was in the audience.

Does Gas Huffer fit into any of these subgenres? For that matter, are they even still together?
