Brokencyde's in town next Friday. they're playing the Eagle Theater in Pontiac.

yep. i walked in during their 2nd or 3rd song.

the first time I went there, these guys were playing: I'd gotten a flyer announcing the gig while standing in line to get in to the Christian Death/Switchblade Sumphony/Big Electric Cat show. I went to Ascension, paid admittance in that little foyer, and the inner door opened...into so much fog that I couldn't see 6 inches in front of me. that and flashing lights. I was home. Attrition's leader asked me to run the fog machine while they played, but I was so busy watching them that I went too light on ther fog for his liking. :(

I was an election poll worker in my city yesterday...and it temporarily burned out my political junkie tendencies. I hardly know any of the results, and it may be tomorrow before I bother looking them up. it was an interesting experience, and I recommend that everyone do it once.

you know that overarching feeling of serenity and bliss? it's never like that.
