    2 news bits: 1) Hostel 3 is going to film here. no word yet on when filming starts. DGNers need to be extras in this one! 2) a romantic comedy called Vamps is going to film here beginning next month. Alicia Silverstone and Sigourney Weaver are in it.

    he needs to hear every reason why it wouldn't work, so give him some.

    while "Chinatown", "Frantic" and "The Pianist" remain his masterpieces, even his bad films (like The Ninth Gate) are better than many directors' best. I still think he has at least one more masterpiece in him. bottom line: if he's not one of the ten all-time best directors, then he's near the top of the next ten.
