  6. weather's supposed to be beautiful, so yeah. Sunday will happen!
  7. found this clip a couple of days ago; it's a guy demonstrating his Electribe and Aques Tone voice synth program. he took a traditional Japanese folk melody and...well, this is on my faves menu, and I spent about an hour last night listening to it over and over. :D
  8. the Montreal Canadiens eliminating Sidney Crybaby and the Pittsburgh Penguins!
  9. one of y'all just ain't right: http://www.detnews.com/article/20100512/METRO/5120423/1409/METRO
  10. this is going to wreck the Gulf oyster industry - maybe for decades; remember, the lighter petroleum compounds will evaporate and the remainder will sink to the bottom - and potentially lead to comtamination of the Mississippi (think of all the freighters that use that waterway)...but, if it finally leads us to tackle the nuclear fusion challenge once and for all, it will all have been worth it. goddamn, that was a long sentence! D:
  11. soooo...how does one go about fencing these products? or does one end up selling them out of the trunk of a car? most likely, they end up in dumpsters or in some field. it would be cool if someone took some SuperGlue and mounted the toys to various municipal buildings in the metro area. :D
  12. check this article out - cool pics included, including some legs designed for the model by the late Alexander McQueen: http://io9.com/5535730/portraits-in-posthumanity-aimee-mullins
  13. that's exactly what Ireland was like for me.
  14. this looks pretty good - David Cronenberg is the guest of honor! :D http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=139844 other guests are Lance Henriksen, Glenn Danzig and Julie Newmar...looks like a party.
