My heart hurts.

We just got a call from the doctor. It's cancer, so dad has to start radiation and chemo soon. I'm holding it together pretty well, just worried about mom losing it. Dad has just kinda accepted that he's not going to work again.

Poor Jon (Charlies brother), I wish there was something I could do for him.

I would change that to "Do you follow politics? Are you a member of political party? Would you date someone with opposing political values?" Just because you do get people who are Independents or follow a 3rd party.

Believe me I'm trying. With the stress from dad's surgery and soon to be radiation/chemotherapy, instead of eating when I'm freaking out I have some water. Makes me feel full without gaining weight. Only downside is that I have to pee more than a pregnant woman lol.

Utterly exausted..so going to see a doctor in the morning. I can't can't be sick like this with dad in the house. I'm hoping that we'll get a pathology report soon.

Ugh, please someone shoot me and put me out of my misery. I feel like crap, I see a doctor in my future me thinks.

To find a job, to lose weight, and to make sure we don't lose the house.

I'm really hoping it's just from the stress of dad's surgery, and drinking a bit today. But I have been dealing with a sinus infection, so I've been wearing a surgical mask around the house so I don't get him sick.

I feel like death warmed over...my aunt actually had to force me to go lay down while the whole family was here for a belated Christmas dinner because I turned white as a sheet for some reason. I think I might have to go to the doctor Monday if this doesn't get better soon.

What version do you use?

So after Friday I'm going to start trying to lose weight again. With dad in the hospital last week I was eating everything in sight it seemed, since I'm an emotional eater. We are doing a belated Christmas dinner on Friday with the family so I don't want to restrict myself from the prime rib. I have a pilates DVD and a treadmill so I'm going to start using those regularly again and hopefully can drop at least 20 pounds by my birthday.

So I'm in the market for new DVD burning software. I used to use Nero 8 but when I reformatted my computer I lost it and didn't have a hard copy of it anymore, and I don't have the cash to shell out for Nero 9. I need someone that is user friendly and works with AVI format. I've been looking at Roxio, but some of the reviews on Amazon.com are really bad so I don't know if I want to spend money on it if it's going to suck. Anyone got a program they use and swear by that doesn't cost and arm and a leg?

Because calling a cab was apparently too hard.

Dad being home and in good spirits. Hell, dad making it through surgery made my month does that count.
