I can definatly understand how some can be offended, but one shouldn't hate a symbol because of ideology that has been associated with it in the past. I looked it up, and its meaning is good luck. It's a 3,000 year old symbol, that yes at one point has been used for evil. But that is my two cents worth, I don't want to offend anyone.
