I've definitely cut down. Granted I spend most of my time alone and I've never like drinking by myself. Oddly enough its one of the few things I've been able to put down with ease
The only shitty Troy behavior i witnessed was some guy (who was very androgynous) gave me a ride to City. Troy was bummed that he was a male because he was "really hoping to get a BJ from her"
I was somewhat anti pharmaceutical for a little while when i was in my "anti chemicals" phase 10 years ago. Thankfully a few courses in organic chemistry solved that. I was put on mood stabilizers after being diagnosed with bipolar II. I've been thinking about going back on some sort of ADD medication recently, but my therapists office doesn't believe in that (as I learned recently 😒).
A common criticism with ADD meds is that they're "chemically similar to meth". And by that they mean they are only a few molecules away from being the same thing. The thing is EVERYTHING is one molecule away from being something else (seriously, water (H2O) is one carbon atom away from being formaldehyde (CH2O)). Meds are tricky. When you start a new one you really have to pay attention to any new side effects so they can switch things up. You know your brain better than anyone. The decisions you make are all yours.
That's how I view it. They universe is so vast that I doubt we're they only one. That being said the distance between stars is so vast the likelihood of them visiting is pretty low. Could some have gotten here? Sure. Until there is definitive proof of that though I have to say the haven't.
I haven't looked too much into it, but it seems to be focused on UFOs rather than aliens. Hell, anything can be a UFO if someone sucks at identifying things. Neither way its seems like nobody cares. The last few years have been such a shit show that the reaction is like... "Aliens? Sure... Why the fuck not?"
The night after SNL she played at a Bob Dylan tribute show to a mix of boos and silence. Kris Kristofferson (one of the organizers) was told to get her off stage. He refused, but he did go out there, gave her a hug, and said "Don't let the bastards get you down"
Honestly, I was reminded of it. I just started logging on less and less here as everyone migrated. I tried to stick around, but it was taking up more energy than I was getting from it. Troy passed and I thought "oooh..... I should really see how everything is going over there". It certainly seemed a bit more positive. So here i am again.
Where was that initial questionnaire someone gave us when we joined?
I showed this to Looms today (he's really into cool video edits of different logos). About halfway through he just says... "Turn it off. Its too spooky"
