  1. I love his stuff. The original twisted, wrong funny comic.
  2. Basically a gift (usually money or in some cultures livestock, etc.) used to sweeten the deal of marrying the person it is attached to. I know it wouldn't work for me. Makes me a big target for leaches.
  3. OK, now the kitchen sink has been thrown into the fray. When do I start tossing in fissionable uranium and plutonium?
  4. Like the quest for funding of for things has now gotten personal, in ways I absolutely abhor.
  5. Depends if what I have planned for banking options works this afternoon.
  6. Slow setting sodium dodecylsulfate-polyacrylamide gels.
  7. Right now, I think I would rather stick my head in a fusion reactor than be single.
  8. Getting ready for another blot series.
  9. These gels are taking forever to set.

  11. I am down to a choice between Paranoia, Shadowrun, or Call of Cthulhu. Let's see, down to a d6 die roll: 1-2: The Computer is my friend. 3-4: Don't make a deal with a dragon. 5-6: AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! THE TENTACLES HAVE GOT ME, AND I'M NOT IN A HENTAI!!!!!!
  12. You can argue about the fiefdom when the times comes. You may even agree to a joint consul rule like the Roman Republic. But remember, even a king will bow down to The One, and *I* don't like to be second guessed. ... You ask me if I have a God complex? Let me tell you something: I *am* God!! *evil, gleeful, maniacal cackle* *whooshes of air, several darts appear in his neck. Ego passes out, still cackling* *Superego appears with smoking tranquilizer dart gun* I apologize for the outburst from Ego. Try as I might, I can't get him off the movie Malice. *Now* you see why I keep him heavily sedated. Damned Geodon/Versed/propofol drip must have run out. Blast. If you excuse me. *Superego drags Ego off, Ego still cackling in heavy sedation.*

I asked myself, it was so hard to bear I had always mistaken selfishness as something that was still cute I never thought of giving up, I was just looking forward But... Everything I encountered I couldn’t do, and I wanted to be free so quickly No matter how much I stretched out my hands, There was no chance that I would make it across that wide, wide sky But I never doubted anything, And I believed in a beautiful future When something made me fume I couldn't fight back against, the big, big tears But my eyes back then, I’m sure, glimmered more than anything Since then I grew quite a bit, I understood more of the world Doing my wasn’t cool, so I pretended to be cold-hearted as I walked along But... I was so half-hearted that I couldn’t do a single thing I don’t know from when I forgot that I had believed in a glimmering tomorrow To protect myself, I had wounded so many dear things I wanted to know what was on the other side of the vast skies right above I promised that “When I was an adult, I’ll definitely get there.” No matter how much I stretched out my hands, There was no chance that I would make it across that wide, wide sky But I never doubted anything, And I believed in a beautiful future When something made me fume I couldn't fight back against, the big, big tears But my eyes back then, I’m sure, glimmered more than anything Back when I was little, I looked up, The sky was so vast With these hands, those that I loved I really thought I could protect all of them
  14. Haven't been below an hour on the six-mile for a while, but the hour post-run vitals speak for themselves: Pulse (resting): 57bpm Blood pressure (resting, right arm): 120/70 Blood pressure (resting, left arm): 117/68 the few point difference between right arm and left arm are normal, given vessel anatomy. The pants have started to fit better, but the weight is still embarrassingly unmentionable.
  15. Oh dear gods in heaven. Well, I don't know which was worse; the description you give of this emo kid, or a guy this last weekend with baggy pants and a blue sequined thong sticking out. I nearly wanted to either hurl, gouge my mind's eye out, or just pull his pants over his head and tie them in a knot. I was thinking the exact same thing.
  16. Is it up then over, or over then up?
