  1. *sssshhhh* Not so loud. It would destroy the image I have as a nice, innocent-type person... *wanders off to the laboratory*
  2. Hump or death? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GXry902OIg
  3. I would love to see the Twilight author actually encounter a Nosferatu, or even Vlad Tepes. Romantic cutesy beings my ass.
  4. Since when is intelligence related to popularity? Galileo was almost executed, wasn't forgiven until centuries after his death for being right. Einstein was ridiculed. Real intelligence isn't blatant. Cunning, I'll give both sides. Both sides' talking heads have it. It takes some basic understanding of the fact as a group people can be gullible, and find the primal fear which both sides use in one form or another to move people to their point. And a certain level of charisma to sway people. But both sides can't see the third edge of the sword; the truth which is somewhere in between the two. Both sides may start to see it when they realize the other side has some valid points, and their own viewpoints could very well be wrong. Thus is the inflexibility of any extremist. The preference is to be comfortable in dogma, which is what happens when the extremes fail to question their own beliefs regularly, and maybe, just maybe, realize they could be wrong. Took the Catholic Church years to even consider Galileo was right. Personal recommendation: Don't let either side sway you into losing your ability to question and think critically for yourself.
  5. Maybe I should do that. It beats putting estimated annual income up there in neon.
  6. Dammit. His body violated 11 times by metal fragments, and these punk kids heckle him for trying to improve his mind? Words don't exist to show my contempt the hecklers.
  7. Thank you, but where I am going to be working, to NOT use column #1 would get you mocked. Thank gods.

  9. I am so f*cking ecstatic I don't have to go through ERAS and interviews or The Match this year. One major headache less I have to deal with.
  10. Chairman: What do you think? SK: Strong program. Everyone's happy with it. Sounds like everyone is set up for success. Chairman: If you had an offer from this program, what would you say? SK: I would say "yes." Chairman: What would you like to happen? SK: To be accepted to the program, and get back into clinical work? Chairman: Welcome to the University of Connecticut Anesthesiology Program. SK (stunned look of deer in headlights, 3 seconds of complete cardiac standstill): Thank you (shakes hand.)
  11. This band is from the DC scene. They performed at my old club that I used to work with. Pretty rocking group. If you see them on FB, there are pictures from my old club (Midnight,) there. Of course I am going to see them.
  12. If they can't get it because of the substance, they might catch it on the fact it is a heat-based vaporizer, and not one that sprays like an aerosol can. Educated guess
  13. I apologize, Jinx. I won't be able to make it tonight. Something big and life-changing in a good way just came up.
