  1. Moi? Well, at least I didn't throw up... *runs*
  2. THIS old man didn't throw up, only a mild headache for an hour after waking up. Uh-huh, denial is the first stage. All we needed was one more mod and we could have called for some horses (I got dibs on the pale one.)
  3. Well, just found out that I am the designated drinker tonight. Rock on.
  4. Let's see: -Radioactive suit: Check -Iodine tabs to keep radiation in check in the thyroid: Check -Other antiradiation meds: check -Torqued out senses to keep people from sneaking up with burlap sack, rope and pancakes: check.
  5. No, just an question to a person from my past that did something insanely stupid.
  6. Seriously, What. The. Hell. Were. You. Thinking.
  7. Got my name from my favorite roleplaying game (i.e. one with books and dice,) when I was in college, Torg. It had a series of novels that set up the world that I enjoyed as well. Wikipedia entry on Torg I know people that worked at West End Games, and their humor and twists run rampant in all their games (they did write the game Paranoia, after all.) And yes, the way the game was named per the wiki entry is totally accurate. The definitive online fan site for the game. Needless to say, I am dying to run this again. (I have everything except the map WEG used to track of the war's progress during the Infiniverse campaign.)
  8. And you thought Twinkies had a shelf life. This was left on a bookshelf: McDonald's Happy Meal Resists decomposition for 6 months. Well, there is one thing that comes off the occasional eat list.
  9. I have seen the euthanasia agent for most animals. It is an IV overdose of pentobarbital in a solution concentration 2000mg/ml (not a typo, 2 GRAMS of drug per ml.) 1ml of the stuff IV is enough to put 10 people into a coma (medical concentration of the stuff is only 50mg/ml.) Average euthanasia dose is at least 10ml. This vet sounds like he cut back the dose more than a little bit, or he used a wrong method.
  10. CO2 from the effervescence probably knocked the fly out, and it fell into the medicine.
  11. I would rather die of a heart attack becuase what I enjoy doing is killing me, Than die doing something both tedious, boring, and nothing but stress.
  12. Ugh...I so try to avoid doing this. Glenmorangie for nightcap it is then.
