  1. The realization Cupid doesn't have my address or can get into the secure building I work in. blast.
  2. Lady Chatterly. Any woman who likes the ideas of forget-me-nots woven into... well... is a win. HAL from 2001 or The Computer from the Paranoia Game?
  3. Probably not dissimilar to bathing in candle/low light. An "enhance your inner calm" type effect.
  4. I really got to get back into the operating room again. My body is begging for 30 hour shifts every 4 days.
  5. I would love to try and pull off a black velvet smoking jacket, or some of the more classic/victorian suits. However, I am a very difficult fit. My dimensions are 48" chest, 36" waist, 29.25" inseam. Athletic cuts only go down 10" from chest to waist. Even in the service, all my dress uniforms had to be tailored to fit, easily adding 50%+ to the cost. Used clothing of the era rarely fits and it is the chest/shoulders that I nearly rip out.
  6. This particular day is ruined by default anymore. The only thing I do is endure it.
  7. This is so antithetical to what I believe should happen with education.
  8. Green tea is most of what I drink anymore. Unsweetened, of course. I will break out the mini 5 hour energy drinks on a very rare occasion. About the strongest thing I do anymore is UCC canned coffee with milk and sugar (yes, they use real sugar.) Stuff makes cappuccino look like water. And even that is rare.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4t4BSDfhb0 A better performance of it:
  10. Now they call. Three hours ago I could do something. I have a 6am report time in the morning, and the hands have to be rock steady.
  11. Great. Rapid weather change cold. Well, at least I will sleep more than 4-6 hours.
  12. Mind the nematocysts. Those things can be painful, especially on those internal organ capsules.
  13. I would concur with attacking the problem from a couple of angles. Though instead of a burnt out liver, I would probably want to keep my knees going without metal replacement for at least another 5 or 6 decades. lol
