Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night. Admission is $4 18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions). UPDATE. The tickets were bought today. I will be arriving back in the D around 630pm (barring any delay in either Hartford or the DC layover.) I will be making at least one, if not two trips to CC for the night. I will also be making an appearance at Necto. If there are any events during the week, or if you want to hang, let me know here. We already knew that. This made me chuckle.

Pending ticket purchase, I will be traveling on the 9th or 10th of December back to the D. The plan is to hang, shamelessly carouse, and be knee deep in shenanigans from the time I hit the ground to the day I leave on the 18th, the actual birthday. Will be flying in and renting a car for the week, housing is the sticking point. There will be CC, Necto, and whatever else is going on in the scene for the week (wish they would let you have stayed longer, Saint.) Basically, I will be channeling Jack Sparrow that week. It will be nice to be around normal people again (seriously, these medical types are just plain wierd. Staying up all night, doing gods know what.) ... Wait...something about the pot and kettle there...

Few that see what I carry on my media player *don't* realize I am into J-Pop a bit. This is the opening to one of my favorite anime, and the only magna I now collect, Black Jack; the surgeon with the hands of god. The lower video has translated lyrics.

Considering they don't realize that the Chinese education is a lot more hard science than we currently have (and state sponsored, if memory serves.) The culture values education, knowledge, and work ethic are the key reasons for their success. Eliminating education funding would be a step away from what they have (though having funding only for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in education would be better use of funding.) They really need to research the why of success instead of aping what is currently seen.

Trust me folks, this is a good one. The meatloaf of the gods, the ribs of heaven, and the crack-laden gingersnaps will not be making an appearance, unfortunately. :(
