  1. DGN @ City Club, Saturday, January 9th. 400 Bagley Street Downtown Detroit You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry) Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really. Leland City Club All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos. Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night. Admission is $4 18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions). No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes. We've had reports that the CC parking lot will not break bills larger than $10, so try to bring smaller bills with you. Zoom able map to Leland City Club MDOT lane closure (The map isn't quite exact. The Leland is located within the Bagley, 1st, Cass, Plaza Dr. block.) In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and long narrow wooden table, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up. Note: If you're NOT going this isn't the place to post about it.
  2. As I said in the above thread, if I ever think of doing this, I don't care about the pain, but put me out of my misery quickly, please.
  3. *holsters captive bolt gun as he stands over the body of 2009* Nuke it from orbit...just to make sure.
  4. I think this is the dress that a girlfriend of mine had on the first time we met.
  5. January is right out for me. I found out today that I have to remain available for a weekend to do 20+ hours of surgery on that weekend (Saturday and Sunday,) to finish off one of the big projects before the deadline. The problem is I will not know about the weekend until the Friday before it. I am basically at the mercy of the chief resident who heads the project and his call schedule. *wanders off, grumbling of whether it is up, then over or over, then up*
  6. Clearly, I have never told you of the second game of my favorite LARP campaign that we simulated going into a Nazi science bunker by using a laser tag arena. I was 32 at the time. This is the same campaign that used flash bangs and fireworks in the middle of the camp to simulate bombing from post WW-II bomber-fighters. As for laser tag, I think I would be for it.
  7. Going...through...LARP...withdrawal... AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! I really, *really* wish I had more pics of my old group and what they would do for a weekend game.
  8. I forgot how much home audio components and speakers are like porn to me. *sigh* I love Klipsch, Bang and Olufsen, and Kenwood. I also remember how warm tube amps sound. Damn my audiophile tendencies.
  9. I wouldn't trust that x-ray as far as I could throw the building, though. It is probably so out of calibration you could get a nasty dose with it on.
  10. All systems appear to be nominal. Should be OK until the new one comes in.
