I am glad I am not the only one that experiences that. What the hell? The universe has more entropy at this time of year or what? Slightly miffed at a drive in the snow for nothing, and concerned that the Forces of Darkness™ are once again letting me know they lose good money while I still exist.

Well, I see the Forces of Darkness are starting with the beatings by ruining my first attempt to go to an Ikea...and it is the perfect table to have next to the Palliser Chair.

Doesn't surprise me. A lot of us have musical backgrounds. We use that among our other hobbies as diversions to unwind the mind (to play, for lack of a better word,) to branch out away from medicine to something more pleasing (medicine can be ugly...one of the reasons I tend to fall for artistic types...it is me branching out and asking them to explain things to see if I can try it myself,) or as an alternative when the burnout happens (FPs tend to get it hard and bad as paperwork builds and case loads build.)
