To have a nice, intimate, romantic date for the 18th of December. I have been alone on the true date of my birthday more often than not. Aside from that day and NYE/NYD, I am not caring either way.

I hate this time of year in this latitude of the world. The mind slows, and thoughts become depressive.

Considering wherever I go, whoever I meet, is not looking for someone like me, the evidence is overwhelming I am a terminal single. *looks around for proof to the contrary*

Nope. For the most part, I have felt left out of group things. Reminds me too much of childhood, where I got lost in the shuffle easily, (like being-forgotten-for-dinner-when-I-was-just-ten-feet-away-downstairs-with-an-open-door type easily.) I want to be one-on-one one, where the force to pay attention to each other is there.

I was hoping for something a bit more intimate than a group thing personally. Something one-on-one dinner, where there isn't a group around you to distract from talking to the other person. But that is just me being a bit of a romantic. *shrug*
