  1. Illegal trespass, but only because the guy I was with smarted off to the cop. I was sitting on porch steps on Bourbon Street. It got thrown out.
  2. I sometimes forget the name of my first boyfriend. I feel badly about that. He was in love with me. I took him as my first because somebody had to be first....eventually, and I wanted to get it over with.
  3. That is cool. Maybe gymnastics like that will change the game forever. Baseball + parkour = kick ass. (Psst. Gimp, it's 'goes' please...in the topic title. Thanks.)
  4. I am dreading returning to work tomorrow. Continental breakfast, buffet lunch, and buffet dinner for 1200+ and there are only FIVE of us working it? Are my bosses NUTS? (Well, yes, actually, they are. And cheap, too.)
  5. I've experienced that. I've had ex-girlfriends who were upset that I wouldn't "quit dick" and, in New Orleans, I've had the epithet "breeder" thrown at me. No one is immune from bigotry, I guess.
  6. It seems highly unlikely to me that a nationally recognized and active legal institution would falsify a complaint. See the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR)'s complaint filed with the Superior Court of Sonoma County here. It's 78 pages. That's going pretty far for a hoax. This kind of thing CAN and DOES happen. It is why so many, gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered TOGETHER have fought to 1) put sexual identity/orientation as an acceptable category in anti-discrimination law, and 2) make same-sex (or other mixes of genders besides the hetero male to female) marriages legal. People don't want to believe this kind of thing happens; I can understand why it isn't picked up by mainstream media. It may be possible, too, that the plaintiff is either not very sociable or camera friendly, despite his years in television production. (Factoid gleaned from scanning the complaint.) Who wants to listen to more gay whinging? /sarcasm
  7. I can not take you seriously anymore as a fellow grammah nahzee. You seen (sic) it? Yeah, I know I'm more than a little uptight, but I can't post in here except to complain until the topic title is corrected. P.S. I really want to see "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." Where did you seen (sic) it? P.P.S. The correction should read either "What's the last movie you saw?" or "What's the last movie you've seen?" in case anyone was wondering.
  8. It's eminently useful! It's rope: It's clothing: It's a weapon:
  9. You are quite forgetting, sir, that Phee is our Lord Emperor--the Earth really does turn about the sun for our beloved Herr Komrade. Before him, we were immersed in immeasurable darkness. Kneel before the Phee!
  10. Too stiff for clothing. I can envision them being fashioned into jewelry and purses, though. Buttons, maybe, and hair accessories.
  11. It's Pascal's wager. Yes, I understand entirely.
  12. True, when I said what I said, I was thinking along the lines of Wellbutrin, Prozac, etc. Effexor is ephedrine, essentially. In drugs like those, you would feel an immediate effect.
  13. YES! Image of the day on the NASA site: ash plume across the North Atlantic.
  14. I don't think we've met, but I send you hugs. I sincerely hope things get better for you soon.
  15. Is the object emblematic to the movie at all; that is to say, will identifying the object help us discern which film it's in, or is it a relatively ubiquitous object?
