Horror Movie 20 questions

Is it an enclosed space (having a roof and walls)? -
Closest thing to it nowadays is an Aero bar.

Horror Movie 20 questions

Is the place designed by a corporeal being? To clarify: designed as in did not arise from unmitigated nature. -
Horror Movie 20 questions

Does the name of the place have a strong association with the film's title, perhaps even so far as to be included in it? -
Looking for "Draining" movies

"Osama" might do the trick, or "L'Humanite." Or you can watch that 9-hour Holocaust documentary the eternal has been threatening to ruin my movie night with. -
No. (How good, bad, or indifferent is entirely dependent on context.)

2010 Crushables of DGN nominations...

Okay, the thorough non-exclusionary scientific approach doesn't appeal to you all, not that I blame you--it requires much work. How about we let people self-nominate? -
Hampsters, huh? I don't know, maybe they are stinky, but hamsters, if you take care of them, don't smell very much. I mean, if you never clean their cages or feed them or give them water and they die, it gets pretty noisome in there. Hamsters are less offensive, I think, than are even gerbils (which are best kept in pairs). Rats and mice, on the other hand, are very odoriferous, though not in the way that things in the weasel family are. Clover is adorable. I still favor, though, that opossum that crapped in my sleeve. That was the cutest shit ever!

Why not go through the whole board via the top posters and select everyone who has been active recently then divide them into smaller subgroups based upon gender, age, on-line only or in-person visibility, and dating/marriage status? -
Not now, but earlier today, I had Carolina-style pulled pork and Kansas City burnt ends (charred beef tips) with a mix of two sauces and sides of greens and mac & cheese from Lazybones. It was so delicious. I think it better than Slow's on Michigan Avenue. That's Lazybones Smokehouse in Roseville, y'all.

I'm awake. I'm not motivated enough to be as productive as I ought. I hope this coffee will help me there, though. Nice morning, though, isn't it?

Yes, yes, I'm sorry. I should have been more specific. I meant that there are few that correlate with local lore of the sort that might get reported in "Weekly World News." That gigantic squid thing was one. The giant rats were another. But the tiny species of salamander, the newly discovered ant species, etc. don't get as much popular press.

Oh shit no! If you go back, don't bring me on that trip. That year sucked balls for me. Lessee, this time 1999, I was a recovering crackhead with fewer than 30 days clean, living with my mom who didn't trust me far enough to fetch something from her car unattended, trying to pay back my dealer with a 20 hr/wk, $7.50/hr job, recently separated from my sociopathic husband whose parents refused to allow me to visit our daughter (whom they adopted) because I reported to the police the episode of assault that ended our marriage (he choked me until I nearly passed out and hit me with a metal folding chair--no, I'm not into pro-wrestling and it wasn't rehearsed) once concerned mutual friends informed me that my soon-to-be ex was talking about buying a gun and killing me so that I could obtain a PPO that would prevent him from legally obtaining that firearm, all while trying to maintain my grades as a full-time student at WSU in my first semester. Yeah, 1999, you can have it. Wow, looking back and seeing how far I've come, I feel really good now. Especially regarding my taste in men. Yes, I'm thinking 2010 will be my best year ever!

Bring them! What? They don't like good beers? We'll behave ourselves, promise. I want to go. I can't stay late, though. One of these days, however, I suggest we move the party down to Dragonmead (I-696 service drive East just east of Bunert): Full Fathom Polish-style stout and the Russian Emperial Stout are meals in themselves. But if you grab some carryout from Lazybones Barbecue on Groesbeck before moseying over to the 'Mead, you have yourself an experience that rivals, if not trumps, Slow's for the beer AND the food, but is far less crowded (provided you do not attend the same night as the dart leagues meet).

Pictures That Describe How You Feel

I don't know why your linked pics often don't work for me. I have to quote your posts and view selection source, pick out the quoted location and then view in another tab/window--what's with that? Is there something screwy with my settings? -
I think every citizen's right to refuse medical treatment for personal/religious/political reasons will still apply. Yes, you might have to either buy the insurance or pay a fine if you have been determined to belong to the income bracket that can afford insurance, but no one is MAKING you take antibiotics or wear dentures. You can still forswear treatment.

The fine won't be implemented for a couple years out. The overall cost of health care for consumers is supposed to have been reduced by then. Also, you would most likely qualify, in your income bracket, for a subsidy to help you pay for your health care. Your concern about your pre-existing health conditions is DIRECTLY DEFENDED by this bill. It means that NO health care company can REFUSE YOU CARE or CHARGE YOU MORE because of your conditions. It's a good thing. And the children with diabetes won't have to worry about explicitly laying out which of their conditions are covered by insurance and which not because they will all be covered--it would be illegal to NOT cover it--if this works according to plan. I think it is a great plan. My worry is whether it will work as planned, especially since so many seem disinclined to even let it have a chance.
