Heya, here's a great belly dance event going on in May. Workshops for beginners and for those already learned in the arts. There's also going to be some African dance workshops there as well. Another reason to NOT say that there's nothing to do and there's nothing going on. Also... hot belly dancers... Huge thanks to everyone that came out this weekend. I was pretty damned surprised. Those of you who were there can attest to the fact that Detroit peoples represented, and a lot of them were DGN'ers. The ballroom had a LOT of peoples and the place got pretty wild with a lot of hollering and dancing. It's awesome to see that there are people who will brave the economy and the elements to see local bands. I appreciate your support very much.
