  1. You just look for the bush that has a beer logo on it somewhere and smells like it hasn't showered in a week...give or take a year or two...
  2. Its not really that hard to figure out a PA system even when phones are involved...or if you know someone that works there...all you have to do is watch someone do it once and then duplicate what they did... They coulda said something more funny like anyone wearing flannel or camo must leave the store...
  3. Yes it does...and my '91 Prelude looks like a wedge of bright red cheese with some dents in it...still kicks ass though! Stock form the Prelude takes the cake in the 3rd gen area...4WS version with variable runner intake manifold.
  4. People dressing like Zombies are the least of our worries...it is the clothing from the 80's that should have you hiding in your basement...
  5. Also, even though Detroit is on hard time it could get better with some work...Mexico is just on a downward spiral right now and it keeps spiraling faster. As long as there are rival gangs down there the violence will not end. Even though I do think that the immigrants hurt our economy and such I do know why they come here and I do feel sad for them. However, we have the ability to help them GO BACK to a better place...so who cares where they are settling lets help make their home country a HOME so they don't have to leave.
  6. Even though I don't think he shoulda been smoking that shit...how does the weed make him ANY different from the rest of the people that work there? He was probably more "alive" when he was all doped up than the average employee there is when sober!
  7. Yeah the people at the hospital were so confused when she was first brought in...my friends dad was a nurse there and he called and said everyone laughed until they took it all into focus.
  8. Yes they are good engines...but the builders that handled most of the cars could not resist messing with the apex seals and they almost always screwed them up. Hell, they couldn't even put a decent crosshatch on my D15 block which I would consider the work of someone that should not be handling engines. In the endurance races the rotary never made it that far...maybe it is just the teams here because I have seen the rotary do well and want one myself. I won't bash rotary engines...but I won't let go of my N/A Honda motors... And yes a Del Sol. The CRX is nice but I like running the shops del sol much more than the CRX for some reason...probably because it has a good N/S motor in it rather than the forced induction bullshit like the CRX.
  9. Speaking of fat people on toilets...I hope she doesn't do the same thing a lady in Milwaukee did last year. She sat on the toilet one day and decided not to get up...for three YEARS...paramedics were called to pick her up when she was having some problems and found that her ass had actually absorbed the toilet seat! The skin had glued the seat to her ass and it needed to surgically removed...
  10. Oh wait so if its legal up here then all the violence goes away? How? It would still be illegal in the areas that the drugs come from and there would still be rival gangs, rival traffickers, and other morons that would still hate each other. And I guess capitalism just makes this happen? Things of this nature would never occur in any other conditions? If they had communism it would go away? Maybe a Queen would set them straight? How about a collective mind? These guys don't give a shit about the current conditions...they want MONEY and that is not strictly something in capitalism...it is human.
  11. Compared to Mexico over the past years its a cake walk...not only has the population of Detroit fallen but so has the murder rate especially when compared to towns in Mexico.
  12. Since when was immigration confined to certain areas? Anyways, I think they are trying to avoid places that they associate with high murder rates.
  13. Full Story Two Drug Slayings in Mexico Rock U.S. Consulate LA UNIÓN, Mexico — Gunmen believed to be linked to drug traffickers shot a pregnant American consulate worker and her husband to death in the violence-racked border town of Ciudad Juárez over the weekend, leaving their baby wailing in the back seat of their car, the authorities said Sunday. The gunmen also killed the husband of another consular employee and wounded his two young children. The shootings took place minutes apart and appeared to be the first deadly attacks on American officials and their families by Mexico’s powerful drug organizations, provoking an angry reaction from the White House. They came during a particularly bloody weekend when nearly 50 people were killed nationwide in drug-gang violence, including attacks in Acapulco as American college students began arriving for spring break. Screw it...this is enough...I am not saying this in a racist way but that country has to be PURGED! I am pretty sure that most people flee here just to stay the hell out of that shitty death trap of a country. Its bad down there and it keeps spreading into our country. First they get to murder people down there for reasons I cannot comprehend...THEN their drugs come up here and not only do the drugs kill people you also have more senseless killing over shitty disputes. I give Obama credit for being pissed and wanting a solution to this...but you can't work with "law enforcement officials" in a country where the government does not exist, pretty much everyone is either paid off or won't do anything out of fear, and the people that should live there flee like hell when they get the chance. Listen Obama...we can't help a force that doesn't exist and the UN probably won't talk about this for another 10 years so do something that will WORK! They are doing this shit in DAYLIGHT! They killed a pregnant woman and HURT KIDS! THEY DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE "LAW ENFORCEMENT" THAT IS THERE NOW!!! Let me guess what "help" we will give them...a few weapons, lots of money in aid, and a pat on the back...this seems like a much better scenario for a full scale invasion that Iraq or Afghanistan!
  14. They can only bring it back if Toyota brings back the classic AE86 and Honda brushes off the tooling for the 3rd gen Civics and Del Sol... Are they gonna make it just a little like the late 80's early 90's versions? If not I am gonna be pissed...love watching them spit out important pieces during a race...and I love watching the crew cry because they suck at building engines.
  15. A website where men watch her consume fast food?!?! Dude I could sit through a week long donkey show with Lady Gaga as the soundtrack and still be less creepy and brain dead than the people that watch that shit!
  16. Yes but remember what grade he is in...that stuff comes with the average age group and doesn't really indicate anything other than they are in that age group. Also, very few people in HS or college stop at just disagreeing with you so its almost always name calling and such. How long will it take for this kid to get to college anyways? Freakin smart!
  17. Well, at least she has a clear goal...more than you can say for some people...I am pretty sure I hit the only bright side to this story though...
  18. I know about engines I took the engineering courses for them. A lot in common only goes so far...its called the 80/20 rule...80% of the stuff is cheap and easy to do while the other 20% is going to be painful. After going through WAY too many case studies on the wind turbine systems in my materials and other engineering classes I don't see an advantage that will be what people want. Yes it can improve some things...but not what people want or expect and it will be a really expensive, loud, large shadow casting, skyline killing forest of giant pinwheels. INDIVIDUAL efforts I totally agree with. They are far more efficient and with the right home kit people could really loosen their dependence on the grid. A few props on your roof, maybe even a solar cell, and a small battery system would make anyone happy. But why ask the auto industry to take on this project? There are TONS of out of work engineers and technicians, me included, that would KILL to work at a newly re-opened factory in Detroit that was opened to mass-produce cheap home energy systems. One thing the auto industry could contribute to would be a decent option for methane powered generators. If the government wanted to fund something that creates power, is cheap, is proven to work very well, and won't take up lots of space in the beautiful wilderness then funding a program to get as many farmers as possible on the methane power generation thing as possible would be great. Right now that lack of properly priced and built methane generators is sad... If they want a "smart grid" they should by all means make it...but keep it small and local without giant farms where efficiency goes down and jobs are at a minimum.
  19. Huh...that kid has balls and a brain. “I've always tried to analyze things because I want to be lawyer,” Will said. “I really don't feel that there's currently liberty and justice for all.” I think this is problem...currently? When has it ever been? Maybe, instead of just protesting and talking down about the people that don't agree with him he could try to help them understand or explain to them...but in most situations like this nobody will do that. Also, if he thinks that the kids opposing him are "more crazy, out of control and vocal" then what the hell is he going to do when he gets to high school or college and people disagree with him?
  20. Wow now I really want to see this. Never knew it was that bad...just heard bits and pieces. Sadly I doubt much can be done to bring it back now. Too many things were let go and it seems that what is left is being stamped into submission. Squeeze the auto industry by the balls any more and POOF it will all be gone. And to darknight1...look at Europe...and I mean LOOK at Europe right now. Its all shitty and we can either stay like we are which is being ass raped or we can go to what they have which is...well, the same shit just in a few different languages. Getting rid of big oil will also do nothing for Detroit or any of us. Actually, those large industries that are now sitting vacant were put out of business because of US! It was the people, the government, and the economy that made them hollow shells. People following the environmental way probably don't care...but those factories could be put to good use for what we want but that will probably never happen. You talk about politicians being stuck in Cold War Era thinking...well how about the people that only see large factories as they were back in the Industrial Revolution. Detroit is the PERFECT example of what happens when you toss the baby out with the bath water...it is a landmark of things to come to all of us if we don't actually expand out way of thinking PAST what we think is modern thinking. Change is not always bad...but look what it did to Detroit...
  21. Some sort of garage...tools and a vehicle must be there too...just the atmosphere and the smells and the feel of the grease...
  22. So why are there not more? What drove them off? There are probably a few left just not that many sightings...
  23. Besides all the obvious benefits you now have more money that would have otherwise been spent on alcohol!
  24. Dude there are obviously going to be secret chambers and such underneath the hoist and cabinet areas!
  25. When I get there I will run it by my DI but I don't know how that will go...might get that but sadly no Snu-snu...
