Dominican Republic knows how to party...hospitality so good you get stuffed and your head is splitting!

A little defensive there eh? Did I ever mention what position I would take on issues or what my intentions were? I am sure that my current work here in the Dominican Republic shows my evil intentions towards humanity...little do they know what brand new schools, clinics, equipment, and all the free medical care REALLY does to them. I had to actually leave the country to perform a humanitarian effort because every fucking time we run this shit in the states we get protesters. We can be doing the same fucking job as other relief groups but since we wear ACU's we are somehow trying to fuck people over. Do you think that helps my decisions any? I am basically working for jack shit, which I knew when I signed up, and I put myself in a job where I can help and most of what I get from the American public is spit in the face. So fuck that...I know you all want the military budget to get cut down to help with our current budget problem in America so let us cut out the largest costs right now...fire all the civilian workers and pull back all the humanitarian missions and supplies. Yes I pointer fingers at the ACLU because although their spoken intention is to help the people they often forget that point and mess it up. It may be intentional and it may not but in all their efforts they really only take a complicated mess and turn it into more of a clusterfuck. It is an electronic work that is highly connected and people gotta stop throwing shit fits at every turn of events that occurs. Yeah this is stupid...however, I said before that this technology is OLD and even with the old signal equipment and computers that my unit has I know a few guys that can whip up a system like this in a few hours AND they don't even have to pull you over to do it since they can accomplish the task from miles away. While I don't really understand you extreme paranoia I really won't pry into it but I will take some fucking offense and your clippy little remarks because my intentions at joining an organization are my own AND if they are good intentions I would suggest you don't fuck it up or I may just be content at being the black suited guy that really is poking into places I don't belong. All that being said tell every American you see that the US soldiers here in the Dominican Republic really apologizes for providing aid in both medical and engineering areas to the people here...with the current situation we are in as far as food and basic supplies because of budget cuts we are sick and tired or the petty bitching going on back at home. Count your blessings for at least being able to have a damn cell phone because some of the shit that I have seen down here would make your skin crawl...

I don't worry about the devices because they don't need them to obtain data...the ability to get data using the internet and a few programs is old technology. What worries me is the ACLU being on it...every time they get "on" something I picture a crazed grandma grabbing her shotgun and jumping in the family Hudson so go and avenge her raped cat...they are like what would happen if you gave legal power to a meth-addict hell bent on seeking rights for all unicorns.

Well...who do you think they are most often associated with? The DOD doesn't toss pamphlets or hand out newspapers...nor do they introduce hard rock and metal to those who have never heard. Well, for reenlistment I am most likely going for Psyops or Intelligence as a second option...both would get me a decent chance at a future with the DOD, NSA, CIA, FBI...all the organizations people point fingers at.

Im still more worried about the education provided at the schools than the meals. While having both in check would be nice it isn't going to help having a bunch of healthy kids that don't know jack about anything but preaching to you about what to eat and how to take care of the earth...because that is all I see coming out of the schools.

All I am saying is that it seems a bit impractical to jump straight to an American organization with all the options out there. Especially when the French and the Chinese are doing far more anti-terrorism work than we are and have more government and special forces units dedicated to the cause. Also, I remember when there was the huge issue where TSA got threats over profiling people that look to part of a terrorist and we forced to do checks on people that were obviously not terrorists just so there was no racial profiling...

True but like I said...how many other agencies were out there doing the same, if not worse, and how many of them do you think are still around? They wouldn't just quit...and given the nature of the business this isn't going to be just another "american" thing like so much of the other bullshit today. Look we live in a nutty world where even a highly trusted president can claim to have an uncle in the army that helped liberate Auschwitz when in reality no such uncle existed and the Russians liberated it...so who can we trust? And I am having trouble with the Indian with and American accent part...with everyone traveling for education or learning it at an early age the only explanation for the whole situation is that it was a CIA operative that was Indian in ethnicity? Sorry...but while I am slightly paranoid I don't buy that at all...not saying it isn't a possibility but there are so many other things to consider...

How come the CIA seems to be the only agency that made it out of the Cold War? The tons of other groups plus their shady networks around the world just quit like that and aren't doing anything anymore? Couldn't the "obvious" be a bit too obvious? Yeah the standards for obesity have changed alot...I am amazed at how many people are on the special PT because they are "overweight" yet they are nothing but muscle...and that doesn't mean they are rippling with muscles. And get kids moving...shit I was running all over the place as a kid and now that isn't really happening and I don't even see the roving gangs of kids on bikes which was giving them a workout without their knowledge. They can eat all the crap they want but if they don't move them it WILL hurt them. Even recess is shitty now and playground equipment is not filled with fun physical obstacles...they have removed most of the fun games due to the fact that children might get hit with a rubber ball.

It is amazing how many pregnant teens come to the free clinics that the Air Force medics are offering down here. We see small things in the States and go nuts over them while everywhere else it is just a normal part of life and nobody freaks. It should also be noted that we should consider ourselves lucky that most young pregnancies are healthy in America...what I have seen here just makes me sad and I know its only a small sample...

Chicago can't tell their ass from a hole in the ground. They tell other states to stop polluting the lake when all they need to do is look at their city and TRY to clean that shit. It is dirty both in the physical sense and politically...they don't actually dye the river green for St. Patty...it already is!

Actually the amount of methane they give off is trivial and most of it is trapped in their shit. The majority of methane is given off in the oceans as the sea floor heats up with volcanic activity and breaks up the chunks at the floor which has large deposits of methane trapped in it. The only study where cows affected anything was done in Cali...known for their terrible studies that screw things up. All they want is their electric car back and in the process they have killed of tons of viable solutions for reasons based off of worthless studies... If we REALLY want global warming to end we need to detonate a few well placed charges and watch California slide off into the ocean and sink.

The companies being used are no secret at all...they are the ones that provide the equipment. The guys that build the trucks send their techs...the guys that build the Signal equipment send their techs...building and road construction is done locally. At first it was done on a very small scale to aid the local economy by a base but it was more of a supplement to our forces since we were busy with large projects. Then politicians got involved with the military and POOF...this happened. Believe me with the condition of everything we have I am amazed at how the military budget is so bad until I remember the contractors...we could probably all have brand new equipment if it wasn't for them. Well, sorry if it sounds like prying but what happened? With the regulations that Customs officials fall under it might be tough to make a case depending on the situation. If you get him word won't spread to everyone and they won't have your picture so you really don't need to worry about backlash because if he gets busted he is gone...but you need to make sure you have a case first.

Blackwater really isn't even part of it...their funding doesn't come from the military budget for some reason. Its part of the same reason that we cannot use their body armor which is far superior and cheaper than the stuff we have. Seriously, the best example of the government wasting money is how they are currently running the military. Its cost alot to train each soldier. Basic teaches you the basic skill needed in the army and in combat and then your AIT will give you all you need to know with your job and then you work your way up the ladder. Now you have a fully qualified soldier ready to work and advance in his/her skills and rank. BUT WAIT! Lets keep paying him but have him do nothing and squander his skills...by having a civilian do all the work. On top of that we take whats left of the budget and waste it on small arms testing to get new weapons that are only new because they are slightly lighter versions of what we already have and what already works pretty damn well. If people pressure the government into making the army the self-sufficient machine that it used to be they would not believe the money that would be saved. Seriously, look up every MOS that relates to a civilian job and then imagine all the troops getting paid for that and then add an equal number of civilians getting paid 4x more than that AND THEN add the cost of parts and supplies for both groups. Government fail...

Thats the problem it isn't even them. Our MP's are being replaced with rental cops and soon the MP MOS will be closed just like the firefighter. I am supposed to be a mechanic but we have a motorpool with hundreds of trained soldiers doing nothing because every day the civilians come and do the work...all we do is oil changes and basic maintenance. Medical and dental personnel are being replaced. Supply, clerks, and all of those MOS's that people make fun of but are actually vital to a mission are being replaced with civilians that don't seem to want to do the kind of job that a soldier did. The Engineers are even getting shut out of things like building the roads and building on bases like they used to...now its the companies that bid and out of the last 20 buildings they did on Ft. Gordon only 2 of the damn things passed inspection the SECOND time around. Now add the mercs and we have a party. If people actually want the government to spend money wisely they need to call for their military back because honestly, if the shit hits the fan the contractors won't help worth shit and our "efficient" army will crumble.
