Hi, my name is Angela Mooer, otherwise known as "kitty" as that is my stage name. I am married to my best friend, band mate, and soul mate, Sean Mooer, otherwise known as "Tabooda" and/or "The Evil Fish".

Together we own Evil Fish Records, a small Indie Record Company, and our band, CyberTrybe.

the Music

I started my band, Feed the Kitty, back in 2002 or 2003 (I can't remember) after being very unhappy in other peoples bands. I don't like to be told what to sing, or how to sing, and I couldn't seem to get these bands to play the music that I liked. So I started my own band.

During this time I met Sean, who was at the time in a band called Taint. While we were dating I lost half my band because my drummer was jealous of Sean, believe it or not. Sean promised to bring back FTK, and together, we did. The first member we brought in was Bryant Bedwell...the other founding father of Cybertrybe. Bryant was the perfect addition, as he brought what I was looking for to the band. Next we brought in Perez Morris, another original CyberTrybe member.

After a few years of begging, coercing, and much much support for CyberTrybe, I finally got Sean and Bryant to agree to bring back CyberTrybe. This was not such an easy thing to do. Sean agreed, but only if I would be in the band, as well. This made for some awkward moments, because the material had already been written and recorded. There were no parts for me. So meetings were had (seriously), and parts were drawn out for me. I was promised that one day, soon, new songs would be written and I would once again be a lead singer again. This was very important to me. It has been 3 years now, and finally, now that we have all the right members (knock on wood) we are ready to record a new LP.

I also am looking forward to the day when we can resurrect Feed the Kitty, as she was sacrificed so that we could focus on CyberTrybe. Both bands consist of the same members.

I was trained classically, competed in Nashville, and performed in an elite A Capella choir in Arizona. I was born here in Michigan, but was raised in three states, Michigan, Arizona, and Tennessee. Mostly in Tennessee by my grandparents. My favorite genre to sing is Jazz (the classics). I also love to paint and write (stories...not music, that is Seans gift), but I have no time for it.

the Life:

Sean and I have four children, all boys. Although Sean is not their biological father, he has been the best father in the world to them. This is one of the many reasons I love him so much. My boys, including Sean, are my world, my everything. I am a very protective Mama Bear.

I am a military wife, a band wife, and an unconventional wife. I try very hard NOT to be a June cleaver. I say that because scarily, it can happen very easily for me.

I also homeschool. I have homeschooled all four of my children, three of whom are now in High School doing very well, I am proud to say.

We also have two dogs, three cats, a ton of fish, and an albino mouse. You could say that our house is full of life! There is never a dull moment, or a quiet one, it seems.

I'm glad that I finally decided to come here to this board. I have had the pleasure of meeting some of you, and I did not realize I knew so many people here. I have been staying away from Forums/boards for over a year...but I think I will like it here very much.
